American aid to Israel
According to a study issued by the Congressional Research Service, the United States provided Israel with aid from 1948 until the beginning of 2023 worth $158.66 billion without taking into account the inflation rate. If the inflation rate is taken into account, it amounts to $260 billion. Most of this aid is military aid.
In 1981, the then US Secretary of State explained that one of the central aspects of US policy was to ensure that Israel maintained qualitative military superiority in the Middle East. So Tel Aviv receives more advanced weapons than other countries in the region.
American aid to Israel covered the period from 1999 to 2008 at a value of $21.3 billion, then it rose to $30 billion from 2009 to 2018. It reached a peak of $33 billion from 2019 to 2028, at $3.3 billion annually, in addition to $500 million annually. Dedicated to missile defence programs, so Congress allocated $3.8 billion to Israel in the 2023 budget.
Annual US military funding grants represent approximately 16% of the total Israeli military budget. This contributed to transforming the Israeli army into one of the most technically advanced armies.
From 2011 until the beginning of 2023, the United States provided about $3 billion to Israel to purchase Iron Dome batteries and missiles. Since 2006, it also provided about $2.4 billion to develop the “David’s Sling” missile defense system, and $4.5 billion to develop the “Arrow” missile defense system. .
The new US aid package of $14.3 billion represents a continuation of Washington's policies seeking to ensure Israeli military superiority in the region, despite the fact that during the last half of the current century, Tel Aviv did not fight wars against regular armies, and its wars were limited to groups and organizations.
Since October 7, the United States has sent two aircraft carriers to the region in support of Israel. The aircraft carrier USS Eisenhower. This aircraft carrier and its group of warships join the carrier Gerald Ford, which was previously deployed in the region in support of Israel.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's office said that London would send two ships, helicopters and surveillance to Israel, and Germany would provide two drones.
The US Secretary of Defense stated that the US Army does not place conditions on its security assistance and weapons provided to Israel, nor on how it uses them.
The Wall Street Journal quoted the Pentagon as saying that a squadron of A-10 aircraft arrived at Al Dhafra base in the UAE to support Israel and deter any attacks.
The White House also reported that they share intelligence with Israel, at the highest level.

This Documentary is a must viewing in attempting to understand the psychology and thinking of Israeli, and how their hand weaves a continuous web of indoctrination thru out the world, put particularly in the USA. The extent of the "brainwashing" of school age American Jews is incredulous.

Many in the US claim Israel wags the tail of the US. US's actions in Gaza appears to confirm this assumption by the US's continuous supply of 20,000 bombs being flown into Israel daily.

"The West has set itself on a path of collective suicide — both moral and economic.
Western leaders are experiencing two stunning events: defeat in Ukraine, genocide in Palestine. The first is humiliating, the other shameful. Yet, they feel no humiliation or shame. Their actions show vividly that those sentiments are alien to them – unable to penetrate the entrenched barriers of dogma, arrogance and deep-seated insecurities. The last are personal as well as political. Therein lies a puzzle. For, as a consequence, the West has set itself on a path of collective suicide. Moral suicide in Gaza; diplomatic suicide – the foundations laid in Europe, the Middle East and across Eurasia; economic suicide – the dollar-based global financial system jeopardized, Europe deindustrializing. It is not a pretty picture..."

Temporary port in Gaza.
After 5 months of the Israeli war that destroyed the Gaza Strip, it caused a humanitarian catastrophe and famine for about 2,300,000 people there. The Israeli aggression led to 30,717 martyrs and 72,156 injured. With Israel continuing to close the Rafah border crossing with Egypt, and the Kerem Shalom crossing with Israel.
The Jordanian Air Force carried out an airdrop of humanitarian aid into Gaza. Then the UAE and Egypt participated in the operation. The United States then carried out a similar drop using three military aircraft, amid some criticism from humanitarian organizations and people who were at the drop site. Aid agencies say airdrops provide much smaller quantities than can be delivered by truck by road.
Finally, US President Joe Biden announced that his country’s army would build a temporary port on the coast of the Gaza Strip to deliver humanitarian aid by sea. The pier will be connected to the mainland via a temporary bridge. The aid is scheduled to be shipped to the port from Cyprus, where it will be inspected by Israelis first, as is currently happening at the land border. Israel says it "fully supports the establishment of a temporary dock."
This is due to Biden being subjected to pressure from the Democratic Party to pressure Israel to make more efforts to allow the entry of relief supplies.
Juliette Touma, spokeswoman for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), said that the agency welcomes any effort to enhance the flow of much-needed humanitarian aid. But there is an easier and more effective way to bring aid, which is through the land crossings linking Israel to Gaza. “Aid and the sea are no substitute for land,” said Sikhrid Kach, Gaza’s senior humanitarian and reconstruction coordinator.
The Palestinians question the American position for the following reasons:
Biden's memo included a special section entitled "Immigration and Asylum Aid," in which Biden requested an additional $3.495 billion, to remain available until spent, to meet humanitarian needs. This ambiguous language means an American willingness to provide financial resources for plans to resettle Gaza residents outside the Strip.
The United States used its veto against a draft UN Security Council resolution demanding an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. While the project received the support of 13 members of the Security Council, against Washington’s objection and Britain’s refusal to vote. America adopts the Israeli position: a temporary ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and the release of all hostages.
There are repeated calls in some American circles for the need for the Egyptian government to allow the entry of large numbers of Palestinian refugees into North Sinai, but Cairo strongly rejects the idea of accepting the influx of refugees, even temporarily, because it fears that this will lead to their permanent settlement, as happened with some Palestinians living in Refugee camps in other areas for decades.
The European Union is working to open a potential relief corridor through Cyprus to support the people of Gaza.
The idea of displacing Palestinians to Cyprus is old and is currently being revived by establishing a port in the Gaza Strip to displace them on their way to Europe.

On International Women’s Day, Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association reported that this year has been the deadliest year for Palestinian women throughout the years of Israeli occupation, in light of the ongoing comprehensive aggression and genocide against the people in Gaza. This is in addition to the heinous crimes and serious violations suffered by women, including field executions, systematic arrests, and accompanying horrifying violations, including sexual assaults.

Sexual harassment in Israel
Figures from the Federation of Help Centers for Victims of Sexual Assault in Israel show that in 2015, 9,197 new requests for help were submitted, an increase of 17% over previous years. But the judicial system does not pursue these cases, because some of them are accused of harassment, such as Judge Yitzhak Cohen in Nazareth, who forced an employee to approach him and fondle her in 2010.
84% of sex crimes cases in 2019 were closed by the prosecutor's office, according to the Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel, while only 16% of cases ended in an indictment.
In 2017
A series of scandals arose about sexual assaults attributed to senior officials in Israel. The case of former Israeli President Moshe Katsav, who was released after spending 5 out of 7 years in prison for being convicted of raping two of his female aides when he was Minister of Tourism, sexual harassment, bribing witnesses, and obstruction of justice. General Ofek Boukhris also resigned from the Israeli army after being convicted of rape.
In 2020
Official Israeli data revealed that 1,542 sexual harassment complaints were filed in the Israeli army, without indictments being filed against the perpetrators of the vast majority of them. The official website of the Israeli Parliament said that only 31 indictments were filed against those accused of harassment out of 1,542 complaints.
Knesset member Emily Moati accused the Israeli army of continuing failure to curb the phenomenon of sexual harassment. Some perpetrators are returned to their positions, even before legal proceedings against them are completed. She indicated that out of 1,542 complaints, there were 26 complaints related to acts of rape, 391 complaints regarding indecent behavior, and 92 complaints related to publishing photos and videos.
A report was prepared in Israel following the emergence of a "pimping scandal" inside Gilboa prison in which senior prison officers were accused of allowing detainees to have sex with female soldiers. The report stated: 70 percent of complaints were not dealt with appropriately. The report revealed that a large percentage of women conscripts in the police, border guards, and prison services were subjected to sexual harassment or abuse during compulsory service. The report's results showed that 25 percent of female soldiers performing their compulsory service - which usually begins at the age of 18 - have been subjected to sexual assault.
In 2021
A report published by themedialine.org website stated that the sexual scandals that afflicted the Israeli army included Israeli army officers, male and female conscripts, and the rape of Palestinian women. Including the scandal of the presenter, Dan Sharoni. It was reported that many female soldiers who served under his command could not sleep or eat because of his behavior towards them. Another Israeli army officer was convicted of raping a Palestinian woman and sexual blackmail, and had previously also been accused of sexually harassing female Israeli soldiers.
The commander of Gilboa prison, Fredi Ben Shitrit, confirmed reports from 2018 that female soldiers serving in the prison behaved in an obscene manner with Palestinian female prisoners and deliberately exposed them to the risk of harm, in order to obtain “concessions” from them.

Around the globe, especially in the very Western capitals supporting and shielding Israel, millions have taken to the streets demanding a ceasefire and advocating for a liberated Palestine. Various actions have been undertaken, including boycotts of pro-Israel businesses and blockades targeting weapons manufacturers supplying Israel. However, what 25-year-old Aaron Bushnell, an active-duty member of the U.S. Air Force residing in San Antonio, Texas, chose to do was remarkable

Disgust
W.J. Astore
Disgust is the word today that captures my feelings about the actions of “my” government. Disgust at facilitating and defending the Israeli genocide in Gaza, as casualties among Palestinians soar above 100,000. Disgust that Congress only clamors for more billions for Israel ($14 billion in the Biden administration bill; $17 billion in the alternate bill from the House Speaker) to enable more killing. Disgust at the strenuous efforts being exerted to get $61 billion in more weapons and aid to Ukraine while denying any oversight over or insight into how that money is spent. Disgust at the government seeking more billions to arm Taiwan, possibly stirring up a hornet’s nest of trouble with China. Disgust at constant fear-mongering about Russia hacking the 2024 presidential election, as if that “threat,” such as it is, can’t be countered and contained. Disgust.

The former director of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Craig Mokhiber, has said it is political cowardice on the part of the UN leadership not to refer to Israel’s military operation in the Gaza Strip as a genocide.
"He said “it is true” that only a court can determine whether it is genocide in the final instance. But the convention of the UN on genocide mandates not just genocide but also mandates the prevention of genocide. And the UN is willing to speak out when it sees torture, war crimes, even crimes against humanity, without waiting for a court decision. However, he stressed, “when the crime of crimes is being committed, you cannot wait until the dust has settled and the blood has dried to even utter the word genocide. This is a classic case of textbook genocide.”
