The Quran says: ‘’But those who believe and do good works We shall admit them to Gardens underneath which rivers flow, and there they shall live for ever, the promise of Allah [God] is true. And who is truer in speech than Allah!
It is not by your fancies, nor by the fancies of the People of the Book. Whosoever does evil shall be recompensed for it, and he will not find for himself, other than Allah, a guardian or helper.

The Quran says: ’’The hospitality of those who believe and do good works shall be the Gardens of Paradise.’’

While the apostle Paul commands, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved," Jesus calls for deeds. Jesus continually calls for actions that include forgiving the sins of others, as conditions that must be fulfilled in order to receive God's forgiveness, to receive eternal life, or to enter the kingdom.

The Catholic Church teaches that both faith and good works are necessary for salvation: Protestants and Catholics agree that faith is necessary for salvation. The Bible clearly teaches that it is. Good works alone do not merit salvation.

Does the "infidel" enter heaven?
According to Judaism
The righteous go after their resurrection to the Garden of Eden. The guilty are thrown in the valley of "G-Hinnom" [Hell], for the evils and sins they have committed.
The twelfth chapter of the book of Daniel "Many people who have already died will live again. Some of them will wake up to have life forever, but some will wake up to find shame and disgrace forever."

Christianity recognizes the existence of heaven, or paradise, and Hell.
The Bible says;
‘’But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

According to Islam
God sent the prophets, and they called people to worship God, so man became a choice between faith and disbelief.
The Quran says:
‘’Whosoever is guided is only guided for his own self, and whosoever goes astray it is only against it. No soul shall bear another's burden. Nor do We punish until we have sent a Messenger.’’
So whoever disbelieves in God and dies as an unbeliever, then he will be eternally in the fire of Hell, as the Quran says:
‘’Allah [God] has cursed the unbelievers and prepared for them a Blaze. Living there for ever, they shall neither find a guardian nor a helper.’’

People who identify as part of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, Asexual (LGBTQIA+) community are at higher mental health risk compared to others. Many factors aside, this is because many people identifying as LGBTQIA+ face discrimination, family rejection, harassment, and fear of violence.

Quran:
“Those who disbelieve Our verses We will roast them in a Fire! As often as their skins are cooked, We exchange their skin with another, in order that they taste the punishment. Characteristics of the Christian believer is the entry of Jesus into his life. So his nature, thought, heart, spirit and conscience change. And his feelings, motives, goals and behaviour change too. How does he stay bad? The bad person is not a true believer, he is a believer in his tongue only.

If you believe in Allah and His Messengers and fear Allah, then for you there is a great reward. This is for both, rich and the poor.

Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline. Through fasting and prayer, the Holy Spirit can transform your life. And the practice of fasting has strong roots in the Bible. Jesus himself spent time in fasting and prayer during his life on earth, and he expected his followers to fast as well.

But Allah chooses from His Messengers whom He will. Therefore, believe in Allah and His Messengers, for if you believe and are cautious there shall be for you a great wage.'

How to avoid thirst during fasting
Delaying the suhoor time [the meal before sunrise], until after midnight.
It is necessary that the suhoor meal contain fruits, as they reduce the feeling of thirst, most notably grapes and watermelon and more vegetables, especially cucumbers. They also help reduce fluid loss in the body.
Avoid drinking too much water at the suhoor. It is better to distribute drinking water in quantities between iftar [the fast-breaking meal ] and suhoor.
Avoid salty foods because they increase thirst and the body's need for fluids during the day.
Avoid drinks that contain caffeine, such as coffee, Nescafe, and soft drinks, as they are diuretics and make the body lose water quickly.
Do not stay under high temperatures for long periods, and it is preferable to rest in cool places, as well as take frequent showers to cool the body and reduce the feeling of thirst.
Drink herbal drinks such as hibiscus, carob and licorice, as they prevent thirst.
Drink more soup as it is a rich source of water
Reduce sweets because they help to feel thirsty.

Is it permissible to practice marital relations during fasting days (especially at night)?
Eastern Church's answer:
Fasting - in the Christian concept - is training to control the body from all lusts and sensual desires (to look, touch, hear and smell). Hence, it prohibits the practice of marital relations during the sacred fasts. And the days of masses, that is, not enjoying sex "in those blessed times."
Refraining from marital relations - during fasting - is known in ancient times (Dan. 6:18). Especially among the Jews, as it was mentioned in the Jewish interpretation of the "Mishnah", which states: "On the day of the penance fast, it is not permissible for the individual to eat, bathe, use perfume, or engage in marital intercourse."
However, this should be done with the agreement of both spouses - before fasting - lest the weak deviate (before the temptation of lust), and cause sin for himself or his life partner, as St. Paul the Apostle saw.
And if the marital relationship is practiced, that day is considered a “breakfast” for both of them.

So now you may be intimate with them and seek what God has prescribed for you. ˹You may˺ eat and drink until you see the light of dawn breaking the darkness of night, then complete the fast until nightfall. Do not make sex with your spouses while you are meditating in the mosques. These are the limits set by God, so do not exceed them. This is how God makes His revelations clear to people, so they may become mindful ˹of Him˺.’ Quran.

In Islam, the Quran states that a sick person who is unable to fast is not required to fast. God said: ‘Fast a certain number of days, but if any one of you is ill or on a journey let him (fast) a similar number of days later on; and for those who are unable (to fast), there is a ransom the feeding of a needy person. Whosoever volunteers good, it is good for him; but to fast is better for you, if you but knew.’
