Whether you like it or not, the security of Israel will never be achieved as long as Israel endeavours to maintain its jackboot policies over the Palestinians. Maintaining the occupation of the West Bank, controlling Gaza by blockades and restrictions on the lives of its inhabitants will never work to provide security. Only people entirely ignorant of the countless historical examples to the contrary that are available, could believe otherwise. All that Israel has achieved is intensifying localised and worldwide hostility. The belief that Israel can permanently hold the world at bay is only held by fools.

No meaningful outside pressure/measure to have a chance of stopping the carnage, but just the ordinary ineffective verbal condemnation.
