Being new and all I have been browsing the forums and topics to find out what is happening at Mingle2 and it's all been good. I like the honesty. I have also checked out profiles of posts that interest me and have a question. When is it okay to email a post directly? I am not an aggressive personality but I am curious to find out more about the person posting. Is there a timeframe that should be considered? Also, if you place a person you have emailed in your favorites will the person you placed know that they are a favorite of yours? I joined Friday and found someone that interested me and did this. Now I'm worried that he knows I did this and I've scared him off. I'm just looking for a little one on one conversation. He read my email but hasn't replied. I can only laugh at myself.

Hi! I'm a newbie to Mingle2 and happy to have found your site. I am also happy this chatting site is FREE. It's a good fit for today's economy! I do Customer Service as a job but recently feel the need to be connected with others outside the workplace. I have three married sons, one of them living in Turkey, and I am a grandmother four times. Two sons and family live within thirty minutes of me. Please write me anytime, I will reply.

Thank you for giving me the obvious answer. Shades of red here! I think they should remove the word "REPLIED" from the checkmark.

In my Sent Box I see a checkmark on an email I sent telling my it was read. When I click on the checkmark with my mouse the message "REPLIED" pops up. However, I didn't find new mail in my inbox. How do I read a reply?
