I think a lot more people have an issue with this than they would be willing to admit. I also do not think it is exclusive to forums such as this, since i have seen people do similar things with someone they have just met and exchanged numbers with at a gym, bar, club or wherever. I suspect some have a private mentality that if someone gives them the time of day, that somehow that means more than what it actually is.

If I am with someone else, I would never flirt with anyone else, nor would I if I were in a relationship. None of us would like to be on the receiving end of that situation, despite how many enjoy doing it to others.

They will come around.  Just take it slowly.
I've decided to do a long hospital stay at a special type of rehab hospital. Not for drugs or alcohol issue's. It's to see if they can do anything different to lessen my phobia of going outside. I feel I've now found what I need to do. I may be in there for some time. I needed some sort of intervention. And I can only do this myself. I don't want to be one of those people who looks back saying "I never went outside ever again". Could you understand how frustrating it could be? Better off sorting things sooner than later.

There are quite a few threads created where the poster really cannot comprehend any other thought besides their own much less tolerate it. They are not really looking for feedback, discussion or debate, and for them kindness is a foreign word.
No matter how polite or well meaning your thoughts are... walking in every open door does not mean the hosts are always welcoming. All you can do is post your thoughts and ignore the complaints if there are any. |
