Your situation should have been nip in the bud from the beginning, I don't know if you try or just hope it will even itself out. Your wife also may be harbouring resentment towards you for being an absentee father due to your constant travelling but still that is no excuse for allowing the children to be constantly disrespectful towards you. Regarding your stroke, step back from conflict at home.

Set boundaries for yourself, what you will and won't tolerate but you need to have a heart-to heart talk with your wife without the kids being around. Communicate calmly but firmly if you want to reassert your man/husband/father role. Hear her side. Thrash it out. A different tone may be best when dealing with the kids' disrespect so the wife don't step 'in like Jesus to save them from wrath of God'. Spending more time with the kids can help.

Also taking an ocean break or whatever to regain some clairty and strength is good as long it is not use an excuse to seek better options as the grass is not always greener on the other side because you have already exited the marriage. Support group, coaching counselling...help is available if you both want it and want to save the marriage.

Most people completely missed the most important part of Trump’s latest announcement about the Strait of Hormuz.

It wasn’t the naval escorts, it was the insurance.

For more than two centuries, the real gatekeeper of global shipping has not been navies, it has been insurance.

Ships cannot sail without it. Ports will not accept them. Banks will not finance their cargo. If insurers refuse coverage, trade stops overnight.

And historically, that insurance power has sat in London, centered around the maritime insurance market of Lloyd’s.

During the height of the British Empire, control over maritime insurance effectively meant control over global trade routes , including the movement of oil.

If London insurers declared a route too dangerous or politically unacceptable, tankers simply stopped moving.

The Strait of Hormuz is the single most critical energy artery on the planet. Roughly a quarter of the world’s oil flows through that narrow passage.

If insurers withdraw coverage because of war risk, the global energy system can seize up almost instantly.

By offering U.S. government-backed insurance and guarantees, Trump is effectively saying that the flow of oil through Hormuz will not depend on private insurance markets in London.

In other words, the world’s most important energy corridor is now being placed under direct American financial and military protection.

For centuries the British financial system sat at the center of global maritime insurance, holding enormous leverage over trade and energy flows, Trump has just bypassed that system.

The British elites ain't going to be too pleased losing that financial chunk of income and we are talking billions if not trillions of dollars.

'Interesting. I guess America is different. I would like to know which countries in the world don't have immigration officers driving around in a vehicle to round up suspected undocumented immigrants or those who overstay their welcome.'

Let me make a slight correction here. The sentence should have ended with .....to round up suspected undocumented immigrants or those who overstay their welcome when they received a call.

The first statement give the impression that immigration officers spend all day driving around rounding up suspects as opposed to receiving a call from law biding citizens (in addition to investigations) and taking action which is normal, globally.

In the case with ICE, does the first statement apply to them or the second?

'President Trump, on the other hand, while being a public figure for decades as well, used to be very well-spoken and quick-witted. Funny, even, and now he's slow and incapable of lining up more than a couple complete sentences worth of a thought. before he mispronounces words or makes something up. He's confusing countries, people and events and describing imaginary situations and conversations that never happened. That and other things he does are clear signs of dementia.'

I thought U.S. presidents had access to the best medical care in the world?

If he is showing signs of dementia, then it can be managed.

Trump, 79, Deletes Weird AI Video Shilling Magic Beds
www.thedailybeast.com/trump-79-posts-ai-version-of-himself-shilling-magic-beds/
President Donald Trump posted an AI video of himself promoting a fake product called “medbeds” to his 10.8 million followers on Truth Social—deleting it after it was up for about twelve hours.

The clip takes the form of a phony Fox News report in which Lara Trump, the president’s daughter in-law, says Trump has announced “the nation’s first medbed hospitals” and that every American would receive a “medbed card.”

The report then cuts to AI Trump speaking in direct, complete sentences inconsistent with the president’s normal speaking patterns.

“Every American will soon receive their own MedBed card,” AI Trump says. “With it, you’ll have guaranteed access to our new hospitals led by the top doctors in the nation, equipped with the most advanced technology in the world.”

Trump reposted a video featuring AI versions of himself and his daughter-in-law, not knowing that neither he, nor his daughter-in-law ever said anything of the sort. This is scary how gone DJT is. Time to invoke the 25th Amendment!

I am really not in favour of a country's leader featuring AI versions of him or herself for whatever reason, whether Trump or Biden. Yes Biden administration use AI versions of him. It lacks authenticity and the human touch. It is suspected that Prince Charles would have use the technology also during a televised speech or signing. That seems to be slowly becoming the norm for the political/elite class.

On the other hand, normal folks are using AI versions of themselves in relation to webinars, presentations and social media. By the time we get to Revelation 13:5 timeline, this will be old technology.

'And it's not valid undercover work when driving around in a van to round up suspected undocumented immigrants.'

Interesting. I guess America is different. I would like to know which countries in the world don't have immigration officers driving around in a vehicle to round up suspected undocumented immigrants or those who overstay their welcome.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear....Can this matter be put to rest once and for all?

Epstein was friends with everyone. Everyone was friends with Epstein. Epstein had EVERY INFLUENTIAL PERSON on his (contact) list. Trump and Epstein were friends in the past. According to Trump, he broke off the friendship.

He would have to know why.

True love acts in the best interest of another.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Due to my age I have the Covid jab twice a year. I have had the Covid vaccines produced by AstraZeneca and Moderna, the latter is now the one I normally receive. The only side effect I have had is a mild headache, similar to the one I receive after my Flu jab, which I now usually receive at the same time as the Covid Jab. Covid, like Flu, is a very serious illness at its worst, and has been shown to be a killer of older people. What saddens me are those people who decry vaccinations, we are now seeing here in the UK increases in measles, another serious illness, because far fewer children have had the MMR vaccinations, brought about through social media creating an anti-vaccine culture since the Covid epidemic. I am very pro vaccination because it saves lives in my opinion. If you are ever unfortunate enough to need a blood transfusion I suggest you refuse it, because it is very likely to have been donated by someone who has been vaccinated, that is if you want to keep your blood clean and pure. Good luck with that.

Note Duttoneer, that folks who have/had issues with the C19 vaccine doesn't necessary translate that all are anti-vaccination.

'She's just doing all she can to to distract from the fact that Trump won't release the Epstein docs as previously promised.'

Because Trump was/is being pressured not to release the Epstein files as was the case when Biden was in power. An upset voter base change his mind. Unfortunately, when a Senate Republican tried to have the files released with full transparency, the resolution was blocked by Senate Democrats a while ago.
