That sometimes. no matter how good it is. Shit Happens. Just because
you have a good relationship does not mean they are the one for you.

Never eep them and never give them away for at least a while. I would
say if he doesn't come to get them in a certain amount of time get rid
of them. But you never keep the stuff unless it was jointly owned.
Because it makes it seem as though your trying to hold on and gives them
the belief they can come back anytime. I gave my ex back his car that
he gave me for christ sakes just to cut the ties.

I also think alot of it depends on how committed the relationship was to
begin with. I was with my ex for two years. We had bought a house
together and everything when crcumstances ( his fault) prevented us from
being able to stay together. We were best friends before becoming
involved and now we can't even speak to each other without making both
of our lives more difficult. But ho knows maybe with time the fires
will die down and we can be just friends again.

Online Dating has it's ups and down just like regular dating. Just like
regular dating you will meet your frogs and your princes. The biggest
dissadvantage is you also have the complication of extreme distances
with online dating and so you never REALLY know what is going on when
your not around. Here is hoping it works though because I am WAY too
busy to meet someone in real life.

I have to agree with the general opinion here. There is NOTHING worse
on a first date then complete scilence. Nervous or not you should
respect that the other person might be nervous too.
