We can talk extensively about this "taboo" topic...1 + night or morning affair!
Some time ago;specially men;were looking for this type of "moments" by opportunity; "accident" or just for have some fun. But; from some years to today; also many women are looking this type of "fun". Human beings consider this kind of experience as normal with no attachments or feelings involved. Many men and women don't accept this type of "moments" and they don't practice that. But many others...yes. Do we have all kind of risks and dangers? yes; but this is another topic. |

I have never heard of "tight kisses" before. I just think of a peck on the lips and no tongue involved. Between friends; it exists normal or light kisses on the cheeks;but...it exists "tight kisses"...with some discreet pressure on the cheeks or near to lips and a little longer than normal. This tight one can have different interpretations depending in the relationship type.In general; close friends like that. |

Seriously; if your health is a little fragile;specially the respiratory system and mouth;better to avoid romantic and even friendly kissing(highly recommended). But; very often; Love ignore all those warnings. Watch that!! For those that are overly cautious, there's always Listerine for both to use before they engage in kissing. Kind of takes away from "the moment", but it's an option. Kissing is cultural and is attached to social behaviors in different societies.We can't compare kissing between lovers and kissing between friends and family members;but in some societies;the frontier between both groups is close and sensitive.
There are many people very sensible to kissing;and even more to kissing between friends; specially in a expressive way. Kiss + eyes mean something between friends...and very often. Two friends can share different kind of kisses... Kisses between Ex lovers is another matter.....

Are you asking if there are ulterior motives to "friendly kisses?" Depends on the culture. Some cultures people kiss each other in friendly ways. I'm thinking the kiss on each cheek hello. In the U.S. I don't believe there is a whole lot of innocent opposite sex friend kissing going on. At most there's some occasional cheek pecking going on. I haven't met very many families that kiss each other on the lips. I've never really encountered a lot of same or opposite sex "just friends" that do a lot of lip kissing. I think if two people are "just friends," socialized in the U.S., and there's a constant push to always kiss on the lips, or constant attempt by one person to kiss something of the other person, then there's something more "disguised."
