Wonderwoman, you are a gal after my own heart.Absolutely the elderly or mums with kids. I believe peoples lives are too busy nowadays and good old fashioned courtesy has or is going out of the window.I don't know if it's intentional or just plain rude, but it's not something I will ever stop.If you like courtesy then you have to behave courteously. Just seen freebands01 response. There is the problem right there!!!!!

Just be yourself I say. Hold open doors, let lady sit down first when out eating, always ask her first what she want to drink before others.I would say offer your seat on a train or bus, but that seems to be going to far. But I would do it anyway. It's about manners surely? Good old fashioned manners that your gran or parents taught you???? Just my view
