Of course there is,they do business all over the country. The US are currently at our only Naval base in Manus Province. Which is an island north east of our mainland. Thier presence here is a small comfort yet troubling.

I also like reading books written by authors from Asia, Africa and Europe, it's a window into the diverse cultures out there in the big wide world.

I love reading, mostly fiction but I enjoy a boigraphy.
And yes reading is a habit one acquires at a young age, that's why I'm always getting books for my kids, nieces and nephews to encourage them to learn to love reading like I do. And it's worked!

I guess as Christians all we can do is pray about it. Seeing all the hate and power struggles going on in the world lately is worrying. I come from a small Pacific island north of Australia and New door to Asia. We had Japanese, Australian and New Zealand soldiers fighting in our country during WW2. It's scary to think that our little country will be caught up in the cross fires again if we did have a WW3.

Am interested in The Valley (obscured by clouds). Is this about New Guinea (Africa?) Or Papua New Guinea (Pacific ?) I come from the latter

Bone Collector is a great movie. It got me hooked on the author Jeffrey Deaver.

Thinking OMG Christmas is around the corner and, as usual, I'm not ready for it!
