For each of us who read the writings posted on this site I would assume that the understanding and meaning is obtained by reading with some interest the words that have been written....... if merely confrontational then its possible you may be on the wrong site

Just a Little Honesty Please

In honesty I have my peace of mind
Even as others look for faults to find
Cannot look you straight in the eye
Twist and turn and blatantly lie
Thinking just now I clearly see
I would not want this done to me
Here in this world it is hard to tell
Even some people I think I know well
So all that I ask from people out there
Give it some thought and a little care
In speaking to people involved in your life
Honesty is harmony lying brings strife
As I leave you tonight I will ask you to think
Perception of honesty what'��s the weakest link
The lie and the liar will never gain trust
Deceit and deception brings only disgust
This little rant is now over I go to bed
Tired and weary to rest the grumpy old head
As I drift off to sleep I just want to rest

Speaking to people ,just want the honest ones

Because I think simply....... they are really the best

Time is so precious with those that we know
Important for feelings you really could show
Show that you love them, want to be there
Use little words gently say that you care
For now is the time that we all have to live
Say they are special show the love you can give
To wait could be foolish they may never know
The warmth and the love you never did show
So lift up their hand and hold it with love
Talk to them gently do all of the above
Look into their eyes show all this you mean
Once in a lifetime let you feelings be seen
No waiting in time it just runs away
So take this advice do this today

As you get older the head starts to do some stupid things things

Little creaks amid silence are near
Lying awake with the sounds that I hear
This is the night lying sleepless in bed
Tossing turning should be sleeping instead
Thoughts that are flying so wildly about
Thinking and trying to work everything out
No answers to problems seem to appear
Darkness fading now daylight draws near
Glad it's the weekend just turn around
Slowly drift off my sleep I have found
Resting at last in the warmth of my bed
Stopped thinking, at peace in my head.........zzzzzzz
