With birds of prey (i.e. eagles, hawks, owls, etc,)
the female is the larger bird.
Other birds show color variation between male & female.
However, with some birds only behaviour differences exist.
For instance, can you tell which of this mating pair of gulls is the female ?

Clearly, the second "tap" was more forceful and likely would have been more so, if he could hsve reached him better.
He could have sat down & petted the dog.
My retort is.... It wasn't a big deal, as the guy only got wet. :tongue:
