Hiya (((Skad))) ![]() Doing good. You?? Doing well. We had my grandmother's birthday dinner tonight) She's my favorite person in the whole world. She turned 78, and we got her a really nice self-watering plant, but I can't remember the name of it.. Found a picture, but the one we got had a burgandy top instead of yellow. ![]() |

take a look at where the money was going--it's posted above you. There were a few, maybe, long-term future good things on there, but most of it was pork spending, none of that necessary for the economy. And even the long-term projects won't help the shape we're in right now.
Maybe in three or so years, you may get more cross-party voting when the economy starts moving back up and we have the money to spend on parks, for example. But this is about principles, not who the guy is who's going to sign it in. However, for us conservatists, it was a pretty good laugh, I must say.. A bonus, you could call it) So, again, read thru the list of what was on the bill and let us know which things are vital to stimulating the economy. |

I want a traditional, hard-working man who provides for the family. One that comes home at night and throws his feet up as I get his dinner. Then comes to bed and interrupts my reading. One that hunts with his friends, believes in God and country, and makes a stand against the wrong things in life--very firmly, but almost never angrily. Would this help? ![]() Ok.. stopping after this one last time)) Back to the subject! ![]() |

It means signs of the times.. :D something I don't worry too much about, b/c I'm protected myself. But the Bible speaks of one world govt./currency in the end days. I couldn't see any way for it to happen before, just because of how tight Americans are with ownership--American Pride and what not..but with the new administration (thru no fault..I don't think they're trying to make it happen or anything) will work together with international efforts on this issue, because they've always worked more with the UN, whereas the former would have fought it tooth and nail. You know, a couple years ago i would have never believed it. As time goes on legislation after legislation, and event after event, we are all pushing pretty hard in that direction. it's like birthpains, huh? Matthew 24:8 uses the word sorrows, which can be translated to birthpains. They start off slow and sporadic, then intensify..the signs that is. Pretty neat) |

Well written Voileazar. I agree with you. There is no downside, just shifting--and our economic crises is weighted on what we do about it, not how this all turns out)
