Sometimes we can't see the trees for the forest being in the way. I don't comment often... people make fun of me, but I will say this: If I found the perfect gentlemen, which I do look for ... but there was something about him which deep inside troubled me (reflecting on a past experience) such has the way he drive the car(because I was in a bad crash) or he talks way too much, I would not continue the relationship. Better to leave one early than much further down the road. You may have not done anything wrong, but in her eyes you were not meant for her. True that I would second that in a lot of cases. That's where patience is something I am glad I have too though helps me to look past peoples faults and communicate through them and get to know why they have them. If they are beyond working out then I let it be but I always resort to attempting to solve the problem first. |

Not to mention in all reality it seems to have the opposite effect at times now more so upsetting women than impressing them from my experience.

Yeah but it is kinda hard when you have to act like you aren't who you are just to make em happy honestly that is the gist I am getting at the moment. Its kind of a two way street in some cases you need to accept them for who they are instead of judging them for the fact you think they are acting to get something in return. Maybe we are sincere and that is our natural demeanor. Time will tell I guarantee you that. A true gentleman's demeanor will not fade with time as most little boys do.
Try thinking about it from that point of view for a minute, we do exist and I promise you that ;) may be few and far between but we are out there going through hell trying to fit in with all the love for the bad boys lol. |

Don't do karaoke, but once a year I sing during a proper gig with a band. I'm one of some 14 singers, so we all do a couple songs each, but we help each other out with backing as well, cos it's fun and we all really like being on stage and performing 
Guessing rehearsals (with singers) will start in February, we're a bit late this year, the band only started rehearsing last week :S The gig is on what used to be Queensday, but as we now have a king, it'll be Kings day. Nice I have done the whole live thing myself too got a few bands trying to get me in with em at the moment. Never been a fan of the fame that comes with it seen it do bad things to my friends lol. Not to mention I wasn't a fan of people knowing me that I didn't even know and always calling me a god. Just not a comfortable feeling in my opinion. I do love singing though so I love Karaoke. Very unassuming and you can still shred the mic and woo the crowd lol. |

I've been to a ton of them, I just recently stopped going to them as they always interfere with my work schedule. That is the only thing that sucks about being a Corporate guy lol. Responsibility is a definite must however the sacrifices you make lead to furthering your success.

Dislike and Fear are the killers of love in us adults lol. But I think most people are still capable of loving when fear subsides and it is their time to inevitably find what they are truly seeking. |

Reading your post made me think about what is the difference between love and attraction. who can say is right or wrong when spmeone expresses their feelings. Are they sincere, or they just because you feel like showing them. I don't know if it has to do or not to the fact of being a gentleman I believe that it goes beyond that. It has yo do with being afraid of receiving love so soon or do not know how to deal with it. We're living in a society that tells us that being nice is not cool anymore and when we face man like you that shows their feelings one can think is not real and, let me say that most of the time men use that tricks just to get laid. Anyways it is interesting to see that there are some men that are able to express themselves and how they feel anytime to anyone they feel like or worth to. Thank you that is definitely a good affirmation for me. Makes me feel a heck of a lot more comfortable. I definitely appreciate the kind words as well. |

Anyhow it has been great, I need to go out and act like a clown on stage screaming my lungs out to some Korn and Zeppelin and woo the crowd a wee bit. Yep Karaoke time. You guys take it easy.

A good person is a good person because that's who they are, not because its what women/men want. If you spend time trying to say you became a bad person because of someone else its just a cop out. You control your behavior. Its all on you. Its not because women are whores, and its not because you cant find a good man. You are exactly who you are. You either value goodness, or you don't. That is very true and very well put. I wish they had a like button lol. Thank you KLC for your input on this thread its bounced around and still really has nothing to do with what I intended it but it has made for some interesting conversation. And definitely some good advice in tid bits that do in some cases apply and did help me out. |
