Well, there's the outward appearance stuff... I generally like her shorter than me. I generally tend to like brunettes more than blondes, but that's not always true. I like cute little button noses and a genuinely warm smile. A pulse and a good command of the English language are very attractive qualities.

Then there's the not so obvious stuff. Attitude is important! I like confident but not arrogant. She should be friendly but not so much that she comes across as flirting with every other guy on the planet. Intelligence is another big factor. She should also be straightforward - if she's interested in me, tell me, don't drop 1000 obscure hints and expect me to pick up on it. I won't.

These are just a few things that I know how to put into words. There are probably dozens of other mysterious things that can't really be explained.

Good Conversation, I feel, adds to attraction for me...being physically appealing wont keep my attention if our conversations aren't stimulating, i.e. funny, informative, flowing.

I've answered this one before. But I'll answer it again. I've had different things I liked about different women. Like I used to like the eye brows of this one girl in high school. They had an interesting shape. That's also one of the things I like about Michelle Pfeiffer. Eye color of some. I also usually prefer brunets and kind of tanned skin. I think when it come to personality it would help is out sense of humor was the same. Because if I tell a really dark joke and she looks at me like I'm Satan. It's probably not going to last very long. Voice and accent can be really nice. I love accents. they're fun to mimic. Not really any one thing. I like to think of my self as a person who looks at the whole package. But like anyone I'm sure certain things stick out about some more than others.

For me it's a man who knows what he wants and isn't afraid to go after it, who enjoys stimulating conversation, who has a sense of humor, who has integrity, wit, intelligence, and who speaks the truth, and who can speak to my heart and soul as well as my mind. I like a man who takes care of himself, is responsible and honest to a fault and who can be a real romantic as well as one who can look you straight in the eyes, because the eyes are the window to the soul. Good looks would be nice, but the character of the man is the most important thing to me. Realistically, I realize it's a tall order...but hey, we can all wish can't we?

It's not so much physical appearance, don't get me wrong it would help if he were short, hairy and intelligent. It's more about his likes and dislikes. I don't want him to be exactly like me of course... prefer one that works with his hands... tools, woodwork, fishing, gardening. I find they are much better than couch potatoes.. and to me this is sexy. Even another man told me long ago.. .a guy who gardens has a very good soul. Personality makes a huge difference... I want to laugh and giggle with someone, can't do this if their nose is always in a book lol

I consider Physical attractiveness as transient. What really draws me to guys is his sense of humor & the way he carries out a conversation.

What draws me to a guy is his ability to make me feel cherished and protected. Also he must have a good sense of humor and be intelligent.

attractive qualties in a man are manners, friendliness that is consistent, leadership or the qualities that make a good leader, strength of character, independent thought, has his priorities in order (whatever they are he has proactively organized his life in some fashion), has a passion for something ...even if he can;t live it 24/7 because of other commitments...he has that passion...for anything but the national felon league. I am not interested in men who are pro sports fanatics
