Yeah....18 is even longer!!!! Choices!!!! I can't and won't expect someone else to mother my child. It's just not something reasonable to ask of someone. We are a package, her and I. I tried about 5 years ago, I got married, and it didn't turn out so well. We are still friends and my daughter still calls her "mom" even though she isn't, which I'm ok with..but it has made me realize this is a very complicated matter and to me at least... there is nothing more important than helping my daughter succeed in this world, because when I am gone she will have no family what so ever except one that she makes. |
