Why is it that the old TV shows, such as Andy Griffith or I Love Lucy, always seemed to try to solve their problems with deception??? It is like the entire show is based on the suspense of how they are going to get caught in their deception. Damned liars and cheats anyway.

I tip at least 20% regardless of how much the bill is. I have left $20 tips for a $10 meal before.

Also, if your meal gets comp'ed by management for reasons other than bad service, I leave a tip that is as much as I would have paid for the entire meal.

There are many different facets to intelligence. Emotional intelligence, social intelligence, book smarts, common sense, are all different forms of intelligence that a person needs to have to be able to function well in society. Few people have them all equally. Someone can be very book smart and emotionally or socially challenged. The reverse is also often true.

Ok, I loaded it and it worked out. I did a few questions, but it has to be a scam because they are far too easy. My guess is it is trying to sell you something when you get to the end.

One of the best sales pitches for stupid people, is one along the lines of "Limited to Smart People" or "Smart people buy this". Those pitches don't work so well for people who actually are smart.

IQ is measured in standard deviations, with 100 representing the mean, and each 10 above that being one standard deviation above the mean. The IQ scales quit working very well above 130, because there aren't enough questions to segregate above that level.

IQs purporting to be above 130 are usually assigned by organizations formed to make money off of people who think they are smart. Such as, Mensa and 4-Sigma. IQs of 190 and 210, i.e., 9 or 11 standard deviation above the mean IQ, would be so rare as to be the equivalent of one atom out of all of the atoms in the universe. Or, perhaps, one individual in all of human history.

So far, it appears that forcing an encounter is a recipe for disaster. Its when you aren't looking that you seem to find the best ones.

Uh yeah, pretend to be who you aren't so you can attract someone who won't like who you are. Sounds like an excellent strategy to me.

It all depends. If I were talking to a person who hitch hiked from Poland to Cambodia when she was in her teens, then followed it up by hitchhiking the world for 5 years starting with $500, and was in the process of hitch hiking Africa in the company of a white camel she had purchased, and we were talking about the time she bought a horse and rode it through the jungle for days in Peru, I don't think I would give a flip about what her room looked like.

When the going gets tough, grit you teeth and think "I can do this for 5 more minutes." When those 5 minutes are up, think "I can do this for 5 more minutes." And when those 5 minutes are up, think "I can do this for 5 more minutes."
