I am glad you posted your story. I am pretty new here too and looking
for friends. I build websites and work online a lot so jumping in here
to chat and post is right up my alley.

I also take care of a handicapped person here in my home so am pretty
busy but not to busy to email and post (probably to much too, lol!)

If you are looking for chat friends, I am available for that. Just send
an invite to your friends network. That certianly makes things easier

Hiya Surrey,

If I knew the emails of some of those folks I would send more invites to
them. I am sure many would be interested in a nicer place to post and
chat. I just do not know how to communicate with most of them outside
of that site. I guess I could go in and send some emails but wonder if
they would go through as I tried to delete my account there.

I did try to post in the web talk group but my posts do not show up so
may be out of luck. I could try though...

Hello,

I have always felt that honesty is the best policy. So I posted a pic
that was as new as I have. It is from last October. 10-15-06 in fact
sitting right here at this computer.

To prove that I am who I say I am there are other pics posted too. I
posted all of them when I joined. Not all are as recent but what I
happened to have already on my computer.

I feel like if you are wanting to date or make friends online why would
you NOT post a recent or current picture in this kind of group? It
defeats the purpose of finding someone to be a friend, penpal, or
activity partner as people do want to know how someone looks. It's
human nature.

I have seen many posts with links in them but if you are doing it to
advertise, I don't think it is proper usage.

I build websites and want to post some of the new ones so someone could
lay a new pair of eyeballs on them for feedback but have been afraid
that might be looked upon as a form of advertising too.
