I am thankful that my Heavenly Father gives me the knowledge, wisdom, strength, courage and power for me to do His Will.
Which is to spread His Devine Word. I am thankful to the Good Lord for finding me when I was lost. I am thankful for my every day blessings that He pours upon my family & I. I am thankful for all my Brothers & Sisters that He gave me all over the world. I am thankful for all my Brothers & Sisters that are out there fighting for our country & freedom. I am thankful to the Good Lord for preserving me, when I've should of been dead a long time ago. I am thankful to the Good Lord for my family. But most of all, I am thankful to the Good Lord for using me for His Glory & I pray that He will use me in a mighty way. Brothers & Sisters, there are so many things that we are thankful for, to the Good Lord. Please do share your story, May you all have a blessed day.......Rosie

Ever wonder brothers and sisters how you would act in front of the All Mighty God? Me, I would problably be all goofy. Hahahaha!!!!! Because I'm funny? No! Because my soul will be so full of His Devine Presence that my flesh would'nt take it and be over filled with His Great Joy. I'll be jumping up and down, laughing, dancing, over whelmed in Him. I would be sooo silly that it would make others laugh, which is great because the joy that they will see in me, they would feel it too which is the great joy of God. TO HIM BE ALL THE PRAISE, THE HONOR, AND THE GLORY!!! WE SERVE AN AWESOME GOD!! Please share your story, for what we share with each other is to Praise Him. I'm glad I made you laugh and may you have a wonderful day in The Good Lord.......Rosie

I think it would depend on what he looked like. If he looked like an angry giant on a throne, I'd probably try to stay out of sight. If he looked like my bartender, I'd probably order a drink. If he looked like a homeless person, I might give him a quarter.

I view god as being omniscient in nature. There is never a time when I am outside of god's presence. This is why I see no value in churches made of hewn stone with steps leading up to their altars and a book on the podium that specifically states not to do that. So for me, god is nature, and nature is god. There's no way to exist outside of god's presence. Everything I do is done in the presence of god. 
Amen to that, The relationship we have with God is the importance of it all. Thanks for sharing....GBY.....Rosie

WHy do I have to be a God fearing man? I prefer a God LOVING man I find nothing to be fearful about where God is concerned A God fearing person states the respect and honour we have for Him and His Devine Word. You are so right, there is nothing to be fearful of God. He is a loving merciful Father. God Bless....

Hi WhiteButterfly and welcome to the forums. We disscuss many religious and philosophical topics in the religious forums. However before you "spread the word" of any particular religion you should read the special rules for the religion forums. In particular the following rule: Also, topics which are designated for response exclusively from one
religion or belief system, or which may cause that type of polarization, will be deleted. The concept behind these forums is to encourage anyone to participate and post their opinions and thoughts as long as they are on-topic. Topics which do not adhere to that philosophy will be removed, and the poster may lose his/her posting privileges. I'm glad to hear that you are anxious to 'spread the word' or your God. But using the forums as a pulpit for any particular religion is considered proslytizing. Sharing your enthusiam is one thing. But if you start up with "God said this" and "God wants that" and "Jesus Christ is the only God", you're going to be met with the same resistance that you'd probably offer to someone who tried to tell you that only Zeus is God, or that only Allah is God, or that only ____________ is God. Sharing how you feel about your God is cool. 
But proselytizing a religion as being the only way is not. Just so you know.
Evangelism is not the purpose of these forums. I didn't make the rules. They just are what they are. 
People will put to you extremely tough questions, and you will indeed begin to feel that you need to become defensive. And why shouldn't this be the case? You're trying to sell something. (i.e. spread the word). That's a cliché that's just another phrase for 'Proselytizing' a specific religion. Sharing how you feel about your God is one thing. "Sharing the word" is just an attempt to push the religion onto other people. And that's not even polite. Please know that I'm not here to push anyone to any religion. Or to disencourage anyone of their beliefs. I love the Good Lord with everything in me & I Praise Him with what I do and say. I've read the guidelines & respect them & if and when I may say anything that makes someone uncomfortable believe me, I will appoligize because that is not my intensions. Thanks & God Bless
