Guess I got lucky this girl actually said thank you to me. Usually I don't get a thank you If you're doing it for a thank you, you're doing it for the wrong reason. yes you're right, it's not the reason to do it just nice.

Guess I got lucky this girl actually said thank you to me. Usually I don't get a thank you i don't hold doors open for other people to get a 'thank you' i hold doors open for other people because it's common courtesty and it makes me feel good to do so. me too, but its a little annoying when people don't say thank you don't ya think?

I understand its a good gesture and I do it.. but why does this show how nice of a person you are? Also does anyone ever say thank you in kind for this gesture?

I want to find a girl who will pay sometimes. Not that I'm cheap or anything, but when you go out with someone constantly and always pay even when you didn't ask for the date I find it unfair.

Call me old fashion but I think the man should always pay when going out on a date...am I wrong to think this? I have heard sooo many guys say they feel less like a man when a woman pays...is this true? I disagree.. out of like the 18 dates I went on with my ex I paid for everything except she got us lunch TWICE which cost her maybe $15. I spent hundreds of dollars on her for dinner, beach, bowling, movies and NOT once did she offer to pay. I would not feel less of a man if she paid whatsoever.
