Please continue supporting our troops. I served during a period when supporting our troops was not done. I came home from a war and got jeered at, booed and even spat upon at the airport.

It was difficult for us to understand because communications was not like it is today. Peace rallies and anti-war protests and political news from stateside did not get to us.

Even if it did, I believe that not one soldier would have walked away. We thought that we were doing the right thing and serving our country.

That was the Vietnam War and I don't know one Veteran from that war that wants to be a hero, Praised or Honered for serving. We just want support for the troops that are in the battlegrounds today.
