Well welcome back sorry it did not work out some do some don't never know till one tries I guess.....  Myself once and ex always and ex my theory is try all the in's and out's before making them the ex then walk away and never look back And well if they are the jealous type or controlling type hummm not for me see ya they never change..... That's awesome advice...wish l would have heard that before I got back with him. He was very jealous and controlling....seems like worse this time around...yea much worse. But I tried but it was just never gonna work. But this time, I cut all ties. Told him not to contact me anymore. He has tried, but I think he finally got the point. So, yea for me, I'm gonna stick with what you said....once an ex...always an ex. Honestly if you had heard that before it would not have stopped you in trying one more time. I do not condone anyone for trying it is when they keep going back and never learn that is when it is time to say hey WTF are you doing with your life? You thought it would work so you did what you needed to do we all have to learn the hard way no matter what anyone tells us. Now you know he want change and yes the best way to go about it if no kids are involved is to cut those ties completely....you did what you needed to do. Now you don't have the what if's in the back of your mind now you know.... Time to move on and enjoy life the way it should be take time to find yourself and enjoy life and within time you will find that special one that will be with you to enhance your life not to control it.....  Reading your words makes me miss my mom even more. She would have said all that too....just in a different way. Thanks for your words of wisdome. They really make sense and sure do make me feel better knowing that I did the right thing by letting go. Funny thing is, l got an almost 17 year old son that told me from the get go it wouldn't work and l was wasting my time. He said l should not waste my time. I shoulda listened to him. He is so smart....way beyond his years sometimes. Thanks Ever thought about writing an advice column? You would do well.

Hello everyone. I have been off here for a while. My ex and I got back together....dumb idea!! I saw on one of the forums on here one time that you and the ex don't work out so don't even try.....but I thought I could make it work this time. WRONG!! He was even worse this time around. So here I am back visiting with my friends (something he wouldn't let me do cuz his jealousy was out of control). It's good to be back. I have missed everyone and I look forward to making new friends.
