But is it not so that you have to hit rock bottom before it can go up again? In my experience, when you are on the way down, there are only very few, and at that, very feeble safety nets. Tis' True. The right's of the damning, will always be greater than the right's of the damned. This is the fall of the American Empire, a financial Apocalyps, which sent droves of Christmas and Easter christians back to church and hence back to polls, thus safeguarding the religious Rights' dominion over morality. Seperation of church and state: Bah! What an infantile dream. To have a truly enlightened society, we must first get rid of fear. Fear is the only thing these aspiring autocrats have to control us. |

In times of stress ...

I seek solace in doing things that I enjoy. Kind of a fake it til you make it approach! Pretend like its all good until it is all good! I make sure that I focus on the things that make me happy instead of dwelling on the negative! That's about right. It's like writer's block. You keep writing...anything... til it clears. If you need a big shoulder to lean on, buy a boulder and put it in the middle of your living- room and lean on that. lol Or you can lean on us. I like flowers...I'm a big sap! Thanksxo |

Agnostic's and Atheist's...

I guess I'm a lot like FnL on our path to unknown. We diverge at agnosticism though. I can not accept the mystery. Without that acceptance there is no faith. I am Athiest. Gods were created as ignorant explainations. Priests (shamin,Witchdoctors,etc..) rose up to interpret God's commands and exert control. Political/ military heads used the priests to further that control. You see that to this day: Clergy on the pulpit telling their congregations how to vote, how to think, how to behave. I don't need a god to tell me how to behave, nor do I need one to have a rich meaningful life, now. If my time is 70 or so years, so be it. We're not that different mate, I chose agnosticism for the open ended view...I lean more towards Atheism though. Feel the licks of HELL FIRE on your ass do you!? lol |
