Two years ago, I awoke to find Zoe in a coma. I rushed her to the
emergency center; they didn't have much hope for her. After a 5 day
stay, she came home blind and lame. I put a lot of time and love into
helping her walk again. She had lost SO much weight (over 10 lbs) and
was very weak - she didn't even have the strength to squat when she
peed.

Zoe was diagnosed with Addisons disease. It's incurable, but treatable
with expensive meds. She is her old self now with just a few little
personality changes. She is my baby and I couldn't imagine losing her.
But, I know she won't be with me forever. When she does go, I wouldn't
hesitate to head to the shelter to find another sweetheart who needs a
home.

It was a big f****** burrito; but, damn, it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good

Anyone have plan for Easter weekend? My mom and dad are driving up here
from SC. Planning a dinner with them, my son and his fiance, my brother
and his gf and my bf and his son. Damn! I don't know if I can fit that
many people in my house!! May be a tight squeeze or maybe we all have
to go on diets.

Good for you, Zero - or maybe more good for your pet(s); mine isn't on
there either (thank goodness) My dog has addisons disease and is on a
few different meds for that which cost me a good $150/month. BUT,she's
my baby and is also my protector. I love her very much
