Fear, No disrespect here. But... I've worked in a rehab. I've been to their NA meetings. I've read their charts and talked with them. The ones that I've seen have all started with pot and/or alcohol. You're missing the point, the point is that in the same way that pot is considered a gateway drug...cough medicine is the true gateway drug. Gateway drug is just a myth, people don't move to harder drugs unless they want to move to harder drugs there is no magical substance that suddenly snaps someone into doing heroin or coke. Hell I did heroin before I did any other drug, but if you really want to clear cut a gateway drug the real one would have to be cough medicine...cause it is a drug, and everyone starts with it. So unless people here are willing to say that cough medicine started the addiction into harder substances they need to drop the gateway drug nonsense. I hear what you are saying about the cough medicine. Children of alcoholics are recommended to use cough medicine with no alcohol in it because addiction runs in families. I havent had anything to eat all day, the most I've had all week is 3 slices of pizza and 2 breadstix, and that was BAD. I've been drinking a lot of water, so I'm crossing my fingers. That's not healthy, Jessica!! You'll actually gain weight like that. You're body thinks you're starving it and it will hold onto the weight even harder. You need fruits, and veggies, protein and some carbs. I can afford to go days without eating. I've done it for a week and lost 10 lbs. that's not healthy |
