Dan Clark loved the power steroids gave him — until the "American Gladiators" star discovered the muscle-enhancing drugs made him grow man-boobs, shrank his privates and turned sex into a painful experience.

"Man boobs, breast-chesticles is what they're called on the street. Gynecomastia is the scientific name. No matter what you call it, I [had] it," Clark, who was "Nitro" on the smash reality series, reveals in his memoir, "Gladiator: A True Story of 'Roids, Rage and Redemption," out next month. "I hate[d] taking off my shirt. For photo shoots, [I'd] wet my nipple with spit ... [to] look firm instead of hanging down."

As he shot seven seasons of "American Gladiators" from 1989 to 1996, he pleaded with the wardrobe stylist to make him a new uniform, but didn't tell her it was "to hide my budding breasts." He eventually underwent reduction surgery.

Clark, a former LA Rams defensive lineman, used steroids for 20 years. They also took their toll on his private parts, so much so that he embarrassingly had to explain to women what was going on. "My b- - -s never really regained their size. They're kind of shriveled," he sadly told one bedmate. In addition, steroids subjected him to a "dull throbbing pain" every time he had sex.

Clark, 44, says when he first started injecting steroids, he gained a whopping 32 pounds of muscle in 10 weeks and topped the scales at 262.

this may be old but its funny

A Pennsylvania woman told police she was attacked at an ATM in Pittsburgh by a robber who became angry when he saw a John McCain bumper sticker on her car, a spokeswoman for the Pittsburgh Police Department said Thursday.
Public Information Officer Diane Richard said police cannot substantiate her story, however, and the investigation is ongoing.

Richard said the 20-year-old told investigators a man approached her Wednesday night at an ATM in the city's East End, put a blade to her neck and demanded money.

She said she gave him $60 and stepped away from him, Richard said.

But the woman said the man "became very angry" when he noticed her car had a bumper sticker supporting the GOP presidential nominee, according to Richard. The woman said he punched her in the back of the head, knocked her to the ground and "continued to punch and kick her while threatening her," the spokeswoman said.

Before he left, the woman said, he carved the letter "B" into her face with a knife, according to Richard. There was no indication what the "B" indicated.

The alleged assailant fled on foot, Richard said.

"We, the police, cannot substantiate this yet," she said. "This is what she told police."

The woman, who is not from Pittsburgh, refused medical attention, Richard said, although she told the investigating officer she would see a doctor Thursday. There was no update on her condition, she said.

Richard said the woman described her alleged attacker as a dark-skinned African-American, 6 feet 4 inches tall with a medium build and short dark hair, wearing dark clothing and shiny shoes.

McCain spokeswoman Jill Hazelbaker told CNN that McCain and running mate Sarah Palin "spoke to the victim and her family after learning about the incident earlier this afternoon."

Hazelbaker said the campaign would not offer more detail out of respect for the woman's privacy.

The campaign of Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama responded to the report with a statement saying, "Our thoughts and prayers are with the young woman for her to make a speedy recovery, and we hope that the person who perpetrated this crime is swiftly apprehended and brought to justice."

anyway to shorten this she was lying she carved her own face lawl

DALLAS - It started as harmless fun - a teenager playing with a remote-controlled toy.

Minutes later, the same teen was hit by a truck and left for dead, in the middle of the street.

He's in serious condition, as police try to track down the hit-and-run driver.

Broken ribs, a fractured neck, and a fractured skull - just some of the serious injuries 19-year-old Johnny Borrago is recovering from at an area hospital.

The Dallas teen was at his uncle's house in Forney, playing with a remote-control car in the street.

Moments later, he was lying there bloodied, begging for help.

"I didn't think he was going to actually run me over with the truck," he said.

In tears and in horrible pain, 19-year-old Johnny Borrago took us through the night.

Late Tuesday, he was playing with a remote-control car on a dead-end street at his uncle's house, when he says a white Chevy pickup clipped his toy, then circled back towards him.

"I walked in the street, he started revving his engine and he just gunned it," said Johnny.

The teen was dragged a few feet on the pavement before he was run over by the truck.

"I got on my knees yelling for help, checking if anybody come outside, and nobody came outside."

He somehow managed to crawl and fight his way back to his uncle's house where he collapsed at the front door.

"When he hit the ground I saw quite a bit of blood, so I knew something was wrong," his uncle said.

His uncle called police and his panicked family thought the worst.

"I don't know why this happened, he's not an animal, he's a human being - he's a kid," his mother said.

A kid left broken in the street, like the toy he was playing with.

"I don't see how somebody could do something like that, try to kill somebody you don't know," said Johnny.

The suspect's vehicle is a white Chevy Silverado truck, possibly a 2000 to 2003 model. It has a black brush guard on the front of it and the victim says it looked like a 4-by-4, or off-road version because it had big tires.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call police.

FORNEY — Run over, dragged and left for dead, a teenage victim in a hit-and-run accident said the driver behind the wheel actually revved his engine before driving his truck right over him.

On Monday, police arrested 19-year-old Gregory Chappell. Forney police said they believe Chappell was behind the wheel when Johnny Borrago, 19, was run over last Tuesday night.

A tip, which was given to the victim's family the day after News 8 aired a story Friday on the case, led police to Chappell.

Investigators also seized Chappell's truck, a white Chevy with a black brush guard, which matched the description of the one Borrago said ran over him.

"He made the wrong mistake and ran me over," Borrago said. "I just wanted to talk to him, let him know he ran over my car. He made the wrong decision to run me over."

What's still not clear is the motive behind the incident. Borrago said before he was hit, the driver ran over a toy car he was playing with in a street in front of his uncle's home. He said the driver then circled back around, revved his engine and ran him over.

"I'm glad they caught him," Borrago said. "He deserved to be caught."

Chappell was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is currently at the Forney Jail.

When showed a picture of Chappell, Borrago said he had never seen the teen before.

"His life was just starting, too," said Maria Hunt, the victim's mother, of Chappell. "And he has ruined his own life, too. I feel sorry for his mom, his family."

Borrago spent one week at Baylor University Medical Center and was checked out on Monday. However, doctors say he still has a long recovery ahead of him.

although i can see your concern war is good for people that insist on killing their own people this is called genocide and in the last three major conflicts the united states has been involved this has been going on so you see war is a good idea to control mass murders

all war is is justified glorified mass murder if we could all love each other an eccept what isa different that wouldnt happen but alas

that would be great but for hate to go away but first

we would have to be rid of fear

to be rid of fear we would have to be rid of the unknown

to be rid off the unknown we would have to be rid of ignorance

to be rid of ignorance we would have to do away with will
because ignorance is as much willful as it is bliss

i found this in my magazine and i thought it was awesome its buy Pulitzer prize winner Alice walker

....when war happens anywhere on the planet it endangers everyone because it poisons the earth itself that air that water those fumes and carcinogens form the bombs and machinery goes very where as an attempt to harm others we commit violence against ourselves and against our beautiful mother the earth....which is so very good to us
the idea that there are some other people somewhere that you can bomb and harm is an idea that is obsolete and wrong we are the SAME we are all part of one earth.the other people are mothers fathers infants grandparents and they are all doing their daily thing getting up in the morning like we do bombing and killing them isn't the answer we must learn about the people we are fighting what they are about and how they see them selves in doing that we will find there is nothing worth killing ppl for

i think this idea is awesome and we should all thing about this
