Thus why I avoid people who are brain dead to research and brilliance.

RUN Chkdsk/r on your next restart from your command prompt or from tools on your C Drive.

after running usual virus check programs,
I use Wise PC Engineer on deep cleaning for both files and computer cleans.
CCleaner with most all boxes checked except wipe free drive space
(shows me when i'm hacked esp. when using Norton)
on the registry cleaner as things were removed that should not have been, then I simply reset defaults or change security to Kaspersky 2013 works ok~

Be clean 1.4 is an old one but keeps it clean

hit man pro will find some things on free download

if all else fails rewrite your OS.
And start over fresh.

after checking for remotes in your computer management console...
