Hey people. Hope everyone is doing well today!

When I first joined this place I used to get a few messages a week. But it's been a couple of months and I haven't had any messages or interest in my profile. In fact this one guy I kinda liked ended up deleting his profile entirely! Am I that mean and scary looking? :O(

My friends all have these great relationships. In some cases the relationships are long term and can get really serious. In other cases the relationships run their course and then end, and they end up being friends or at least parting on friendly terms.

Yet in almost two years now I haven't had a single boyfriend. I didn't have a boyfriend in high school either. There was one hopeful who asked me to prom, but I turned him down for two reasons: 1, he had dated and slept with my best friend not one month earlier, and 2, he was very clingy and I got the feeling he was just latching to me so he wouldn't feel so lonely.

Maybe I should have just gone to the prom with him. Maybe I should have just seen where it would lead, even if I knew it wasn't going to definitely end in marriage.

But I'm going to be 25 later this year and I am still completely retarded when it comes to guys. My last relationship was so bad and emotionally abusive that it scared me from jumping back into the dating pool. But maybe now it's me? I don't know.
