I have no interest in catching anything. It was a statement and with any luck that flag will carry the same stigma as the swastika.  It stands for the same thing: EVIL Again that is your perception and I fully understand. To my many friends who are Buddhists it means something different. Facing to the right it represents strength and intelligence, facing to the left it means love and mercy. In Chinese it can be used to identify something as vegetarian.  And again you would be wrong LOL Swastika = Satanic Evil Confederate Flag = Satanic Evil I may be wrong about your perception, because I don't know you and can only take you at your word. What I think that you are saying is that you beleive the swastika is a symbol of evil. Did I mis-understand? I am also saying that others beleive it to represent the opposite. I cautiously step into to this thread to state only that the swastika was given that stigma by fanatics, it wasn't born with it. Symbols are used for many reasons, right or wrong. The confedrate flag has many social stigmas associated with it.
The swastika is an ancient religous symbol still in use in many parts of the world by Bhudist and Hindus. People's perception of symbols and flags are their own and should be respected. Hope I didn't offend anyone  (Sorry for the crappy spelling) |
