Yes. That is a scam. If you start talking with someone and they say that they are visiting Ghana, Nigeria etc. if you ask someone text you and you receive a text from a phone number with extra digits it is definitely a scam also. If you exchange numbers with someone and they have a phone area code that doesn't match the state they say they are from that is a huge red flag too. If someone starts talking about needing money etc... That is a red flag too. Hope this helps. I have been on this site for a week and have found 11 scammers out of 12 women I have received messages from.
