I'd have to be pretty confident in that person before I gave out my phone #. I'm not as trusting as I was when I was younger! drinker flowerforyou

I guess if someone I wasn't interested in asked me out, I'd just diplomatically say "no", and that goes for any racedrinker flowerforyou .

I agree with these ladies...no child is unwanted. If the mother truly does not want the child, there are plenty of parents who do want children and would gladly adopt them!

I think the point that some people are trying to make is that unfortunately a lot of the mothers, and I use the term loosely in some cases, who don't want the child themselves aren't the ones compassionate enough to let that child go to a home where they could be loved and cared for, and instead keep them and abuse/neglect them and collect the welfare. And that's sad, because there are so many wonderful people that would love to have a child!sad2 flowerforyou

Actions always speak louder than words. The kids will grow up and see who did for them and who lied.

I agree! My kids were 1 and 4 when their dad and I divorced. I never said anything bad about him, because I figured our problems had nothing to do with the kids, and they should be able to love both of us. Through the years, I'm afraid they did learn what his priorities were, and it wasn't them. Sad---wish he could have been a better dad, but I think he didn't know how. He lived with lots of regrets the last 15 yrs. of his life, and passed away 18 mos. ago, a very lonely person. Sad situation for him and my sons!sad2 flowerforyou

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, 'Whoo Hoo, What a ride!'flowerforyou
