Yep I have gotten this too. I figure someone is just trying to get your attention using humor. They probably don't realize they are being rude. I've used it but not as a first time attention getter.

How disappointing it is when you find a friend on here and you both say you want to continue chatting here and the next day they have deactivated. :-( Not disappointing at all to me. I never label those people friends or pay it much mind. I would feel differently if it is someone I have talked to for a while and gotten to know somewhat and enjoy exchanging letters with them. Your right! |

Hi Penny! I just want to say how inspiring your post have been to me. Ive been over weight all my life and as far as looks I was okay with it. Now I realize its not just about apearence, I need to be healthy. For me and my children. Thanks again and keep up the great work!!!

Interesting question though. I still feel a man should propose. Nothing wrong with a woman proposing. But to me it does feel like the world inside out. I want a bloke to get on one knee and ask me. It's just one of them things in life you will remember till your dying day. The other day at a party, I asked my friends if they had ever been proposed to. The answers were stunning, it's a good party question! It turns out most had never been proposed to. Most couples had simply talked about getting married, discussed it, cos it was more convenient. So 9 out of 10 times, there's no romantic proposal at all.  I want the fairytale proposal and wedding 
I've been thinking about this my entire life so I better get it! 
Yeah, I know the feeling! But to me the romantic proposal is more important than the fairy-tale wedding. I agree! |
