I get a lot of messages from different men that start the same way with "AM". I'm thinking scam.

What do they do. Try and get you to send money? Identity? What if it weren't so easy to spot? Could they get my identity from instant message or email? How do I protect myself and still try to find Mr right?

they usually try to give you a sob story about why they're stuck in Africa (usually they say they went their for business,a spouse has been kidnapped,they're there for a sick/dieing parent)and say they need money to get back to the U.S,or they will quickly confess their love and say they want to marry you but they need more to return to the U.S best advice is do not give them any info about yourself,period!

At least you're not being stalked from someone who can't take no for an answer. Hell. When 'No' doesn't work, they then have tactics up their sleeve. It's crazy. I'm guessing he'd rape a woman if she refused to date him. It's not normal.

Omg I'm such a dumbass! Lol! I just realized when the user name is too long it pushes the AM and PM to the next line! Lol!

Don't worry its an easy mistake to make! At least you were alert enough to spot the possibility of it being a scam though? Some other people aren't so lucky.
