It can be confusing at first. For myself I always knew but was afraid of what others might think. But I realized I had to do things that pleased me. Not everyone else. After that I had my first same gender relationship (yes I am female and know that there is also bi males either way it still is for both). In my case it was a female female one. I only wish it wasn't so one sided as it was. She was also very destructive to my family. But that is how some are. Live and learn. It wont change who or what I am though. :)

I like to make friends rather than play the field. That isn't my style either. For starters it is nothing but problems. I also do not think it is right either.

But I am refering to who swans with stay together for life. when one dies the other will follow. It is like those old couple that stay together through everything and then one goes and the other follows....Those times they are mates. Not husband or wife.

My cats name is Usagi and she can be a butt at times. So I just combined the two. Usagibutt. But I can see why how it sounds that way. I make fun of it as well.

What I am getting at is (and yes we are all animals my lady just few want to accept it) that one person who will be with you no matter what. You are absolutely correct. Now days people view love as "well until I get tired of them" and the word "mate" is used so frivolously. But for myself I use the word Mate are permanent thing. I hate the word husband or wife.


To bond yourself to another should never be taken lightly. If you know down the road you will have problems then don't get together in the first damn place. I guess I harken back to the old ways, not the modern way of thinking.

Hello everyone I have a question for you all. I often hear the word husband and wife in the human world. Yet in the animal kingdom a pair are called mates. Since they stay together for life.

Would you rather consider your other half your husband/wife (which to me seems temporary) or Mate? I would say mate myself. But I want to know what everyone thinks.

This really is an interesting question. Usually one associates light magic with good and dark magic with bad. But I think of it this way. Light magic is used to heal and help. Dark magic can harm but it is also the other end of the spectrum. You can use dark magic to help as well if you know what you are doing and how you cast a spell.

In short dark magic is the balance to the light magic. Think of it more like yin and yang. I myself believe in both light and dark magic. I will admit I have used dark magic but for a just cause. I have also used the lighter side as well.

Most think magic is like in Hollywood and what magicians do. This is not the case. True and real magic comes from within. Everyone has the potential to use it. But not many want to admit they have such things. After all true and real magic is something you cannot see or touch. But it causes things to happen that cannot be explained my science.

I happen to love the genre and am wondering if there are any Symphonic Metal heads like myself here? Granted I do listen to a variety, But I know it is a rather new/interesting genre.

If you mean normal by not a bar hopping, party crazy, and drunk I think I am normal. But again normal is how one sees things. After all what is normal to one is abnormal to another.
