Spare the rod, spoil the child...
I had no issues whupping my kids when they were younger. As has been said, it was never to cause pain, rather to help reinforce a point. And for me, most importantly, I NEVER whupped my kids while I was enraged, I alwasy waited to calm down, and do it controlled first. I think that is a key difference... Now, as teenagers, and budding teens, they are basically a hands free couple of kids!

It stinks here!! People are rude, crime is at an all time high, gas is rediculously expensive, not to mention the cost of living and housing!!
Its always too hot or too cold, the water at the beach is cold and the traffic is the worst ever!! Immigration issues run rampant, the state government is a complete train wreck and we are all on dope! Nope, don't come to California, do yourself a favor and stay away, we all really hate it here... |
