GRAMS EGGNOG

12 eggs separated
1 cup of sugar for egg yolks. Plus a cup of sugar for egg whites
1 1/2 cup of rum
1 1/2 cup of brandy
2 tbsp of vanilla
6 cups of whole milk
ground nutmeg for garnish
1 pint of heavy cream

Beat egg yolks with sugar on low speed in a large bowl until mixed. At high speed, beat until thick and lemon-colored (about fifteen minutes).

Combine in the alcohol, one tablespoon at a time, to mixture. Cover and chill.

In the meantime, chill a 5-6 quart punch bowl. About twenty minutes before you will be serving your eggnog, stir the yolk mixture, milk, vanilla, and 1 1/4 tsp. nutmeg in the bowl.

In another large bowl beat egg whites at high speed until soft peaks form. Slowly adding the sugar, while beat the egg whites.

In a smaller bowl (you can use the same beaters), beat cream at medium speed until stiff peaks form.

Using a whisk, gently fold egg whites, cream, and yolk mixture just until blended. Serve cold (no ice).

I know this may sound idiotic, but will the eggs not make you sick due to not being cooked? It sounds great though. Just did not know how it worked.

How are you allowed to have a profile for an hour? That is just odd.

Hello and good evening, I hope you all do not mind but this seems to be a really friendly place and I was hoping I could come in out of the cold and sit next to the fire and talk with a few of the locals.
When I first saw the pub I felt at home.
