Hey don't stress yourself out over this. If he was of a mind to hurt himself it had nothing to do with you, depression simply does not work that way and you cannot let an internet "relationship" cuase you guilt about something over which you have no control. Just be grateful if he is that dramatic on-line that you never met him in person, because at that point it's you that would be in danger.

looks alright but you do not have to say that you are not wearing glasses in your picture cause it is obvious that you are not. nice effort 
I probably didn't phrase that correctly but the point of it was not to mislead anyone into thinking I was trying to appear to be anything other than what I am. I agree with you. Thanks. |

Looks good, but what's wrong with love at first site???? Nothing when it's real. But I've already had 2 guys who found "love at first site" from my profile pic on another site that turned out to be scammers trying to get me to send money to their poor pitiful selves. Fortunately for me, I'm not gullible and a bit of a skeptic. |

Can anyone explain why "mutual match" keeps showing me people that don't meet my search criteria? My biggest requirement is "no smoking" and I keep getting shown profiles of men who smoke. its screwey...and no one really uses it..hang in the forums and talk with people..best way to meet people http://www.oneplusyou.com/topic/show/121635--come hang here...my mom deb will match you with who you are looking for. Thanks, but maybe this just isn't the site for me. I don't have a lot of time to spend hanging in chat rooms. I've looked at the oneplusyou page and frankly I don't get it. None of what anyone is saying there makes any kind of sense to me. I'm sure that I'm showing my inexperience and niavete but I prefer conversations that I can follow. |

Trust your gut on this one, but if you do give him a chance leave the baggage in the closet. Not fair to him to put someone elses issues on him just because of a physical resemblance to someone in your past. Best of luck whatever you do.

That's a tough situation but I have always found that the best answer is straight up honesty. "Look, it was really nice catching up with you again,but, I don't see you that way, please don't push it because I don't want to lose the friendship." If he can handle it you'll still be friends, if not he'll be hurt but at least he won't be mislead.
