I split my year between 2 different locations, climates, even states. It seems to work for me - up to a point. Not necessarily a white picket fence, but it seems like "most" want to lay down roots in ONE geographic location. Even though I feel a sense of community in each location, I find it difficult to find anyone that agrees. Could you feel "at home" in more than one location? Have you checked out the MILF thread? I mean retired people have to places. One for winter and one for summer. I would like one place. Not quite ready to retire...not many (of working age) are cut out for splitting their time. Where's "not" home gypsy? |
