I don't think that a husband should be demanding anything in the first place. A husband can have expectations, and when they aren't met, it is probably a good idea to say something. However, a wife has the same right. If a husband cherishes his wife, and she does the same, then the differences ought to work themselves out. Yeah, what he said!

My kids are off for 9 weeks - and it started 2 weeks ago ... the fact that I still have enough brain power to post is sheer luck. Their dad & I are splitting the holidays - and they'll be spending a lot of time at Grandma's cottage ... it's definitely tough for working parents!

Not sure why, but I've had a few guys do the same thing - email me or request to IM here (with *shocker* absolutely nothing to say but 'hey') and immediately want to go to another forum to chat (MSN, etc). I'm always tempted to ask, 'Why, is it the air at JSH that's stunting your ability to form coherent thoughts? You're suddenly going to be funny and intelligent somewhere else?' 
Had one of those 'delightful' exchanges this very morning, actually ... *groan* wanted to know if I liked a 'frisky' younger guy. Yep, I think we all know where that conversation was gonna go! 
Not to worry, if he's a frisky young dude, that conversation would probably only last a couple seconds
*laughing* There's the silver lining I was missing!

There has to be some level of attraction, but to me, physical attraction is way low on the list compared to mental stimulation, emotional availability, kind-heartedness, level of motivation, sense of humor, etc. - those are the attractive qualities to me. BINGO! What she said!
