*Rodhin decides that for his own safety, he can no longer put off the fatigue that looms over him like a wraith. He leaves the inn, in search of a secluded wood, where he and Anathrax can battle alone*

*The man takes the mug and drinks a little bit of the brew. He is far more interested in what is happening around him. He takes careful note of everyone in the inn and his new surroundings.* *Rodhin smiles as he watches the youth take an inventory of his surroundings. 'So much like myself,' he muses.* *Rodhin takes a table in the farthest corner as he decides that this individual deserved his undivided attention.* *He smirks a little as he picks up on the man watching him. He finished his brew and looks towards the fallen over barkeep.* If the elf hasn't actually struck you dead another brew would be appreciated *He says. The man looks slightly frustrated but that could just be because of the fact it also looks like he hasn't slept in nights.* *Rodhin notices the smirk, the telltale sign of a braggart, someone with no sense of own vulnerability.* "Might be the death of him one day," he says to no one in particular.... |

*Rodhin watches the antics without a trace of amusement. 'If they only knew the fate that is about to befall them.' he muses, 'They would not be so quick to play the games of jesters'*
*Rodhin returns his gaze to the table* |

*A young looking man that seems that even for his young age has seen better days moves through the streets of the town. Taking care to remain unnoticed. As he approaches the Green Dragon he lets himself move out a little bit. He wears a dark cloak that seems to allow him to blend into his surroundings and the hood is pulled slightly over his face. He stops for a moment and sighs as he approaches the Inn... How he hates it when he is sent on these little errands. Although it must be done if he has any hope of gaining any sort of reputation. He prepares himself for the days events and moves up to the Inn and walks inside.* *But he did not fail to notice the youth that entered the inn* "So..it shall soon begin" *Rodhin keeps his distance as he walks toward the inn...* |

*Rodhin silently considers the 40 gold in his pouch, and how much lighter it will be. But realizing that for his purposes, 20 gold will be the least of his worries* "You have a deal little man" Excellent, then keep the Axe and I'll take the money. *Rodhin pays the gold and takes the axe with an almost reverent look in his eyes. He walks off failing to notice the look of disdain Calliope gives him as he passes by her* |

"Speaking of price little man, how much for this weapon. Not much as you can see, but it seems that it will accomodate my purposes." It will probably cleave...something. I'm not sure I remember this item very well, I can tell it's magic somehow, but huh... I don't remember even getting it in the first place. Tell you what, how about you pay 20 gold just to get it off my cart. *Rodhin silently considers the 40 gold in his pouch, and how much lighter it will be. But realizing that for his purposes, 20 gold will be the least of his worries* "You have a deal little man" |

*Rodhin's eyes roll as he wonders if the sales pitch will ever stop, but decides to play along* "You don't say? by all means..." *He grabs the Axe from the back so the man can have a better look at it.* Try it out... just not on me. "That would depend on the price, little man" *Rodhin hefts the weapon into his hand and as he does, an vision from his past appears so vividly, it causes him to grip the axe until his knuckles turn white.* *Rodhin groans at the negotiations to come, but figures they might as well get it over with* "Speaking of price little man, how much for this weapon. Not much as you can see, but it seems that it will accomodate my purposes." |

Rodhin smirks inwardly at the peddler's attempt to show him the pieces of junk. 'He must really think me the fool,' Rodhin reflects to himself. As he turns to leave he notices one in the back of the wagon that almost causes him to stand still. 'That is the one!' he thinks. He turns to the peddler and says, "Ah, yes! Very nice indeed. I find it hard to believe you still have these to sell...but what about that one in the back?" *He shrugs not really caring what he sells as long as he does. He puts the two awes back on the pile. * And here I thought you didn't like magical things. That one there is mildly enchanted. *Rodhin's eyes roll as he wonders if the sales pitch will ever stop, but decides to play along* "You don't say? by all means..." |

"Yes, I need one of only the greatest quality as I seemed to have...misplaced...my last one." Misplaced huh? Probably in someone's Torso... well I'll take a look for ya. *He starts rummaging through the pile of items and gathers two Battle Axes. One looks nicer than the other, but they both appear to be of fine workmanship.* I got these two in the non-magical department as you can see one is a bit fancier than the other one, but it's also more expensive... naturally. Rodhin smirks inwardly at the peddler's attempt to show him the pieces of junk. 'He must really think me the fool,' Rodhin reflects to himself. *He doesn't notice he's stopped being followed and walks out to his cart unlocking and opening it up. He looks back and mumbles.* ...stupid, never leave the scroll, it just makes people curious. "hey little man, what's that you say? Who's stupid?" I'm stupid, I left my list behind and... anyway nevermind... so the Axe then? "Yes, I need one of only the greatest quality as I seemed to have...misplaced...my last one." |

*He walks in with his Scroll again, the short thin human with the leather cap and the big nose. He again looks for a place to sit. He sets his stuff down, but doesn't unroll the scroll just yet, he instead is just watching the crowd.* "Good Morning, Sir...Why do you hold that scroll in such a manner?" *she glances at the scroll with interest* |
