IF the person that you liked asked you to be with him/her but you had plans with your friends.... Where would your attention lie?

Just because you are dating someone, does not mean that you have to drop everything for that person. Your friends are just as important.

When you date someone, you just simply make time for them and open your life to them.

Glad someone else sees it the same way.
opening my life for them means there number 1 and they come first over friends, family, everyone

so you'd cancel plans with friends and family because the person you love wants you to do something with them instead?

If I had previous plans with friends, I'd stick to my plans. Breaking plans just because someone else calls isn't cool.

Only advice I can give you is to keep a really good cleaner specifically formulated for male cat urine handy at all times.
Best of luck!

nature's miracle seems to work well.

Both of my cats wear collars. One will actually go out on a leash. He doesn't walk much, though. It's more like walking a little.. rolling around on the ground.. playing with sticks.. repeat. The other won't go out at all.

lol E**** you have one lazy cat and the other is anti-sociallaugh

he's not lazy... it's more like he has add and gets distracted by every single thing he sees outside. the other one is antisocial. the only time he comes out to see other people is if i'm gone and someone is feeding him for me. otherwise, he hates everyone but me. laugh

All the time.

Moondark, sorry to say,get used to the fighting and mood swings. Cats are nocturnal, they need to get out at night (whether they are fixed or not)!!

Its their natural instinct.

Think of it like this, how would you like to be couped up all day looking at the same faces. Tensions can rise. I know you love your cats and I understand the situation you are in. Apartment Block. Yes? You can actually walk a cat much like a dog. There is a process. You must get collars on them. Then get the leash and start walking around the house with them and when they are used to that, head outside with them on the leash preferably at night but daytime will suffice if your area is dangerous at night. They will thank you for it!!

Best wishes!!

Edit/ They are males. Yes? The problem with the urinating is they are trying to mark out the others territory but this normall quits after been fixed but it may take up to a year after. They will still go through the motion but wont let out any urine and if they do occasionaly, that foul smell should not be present.

I think they are frustrated Moondark.

Hope this helps.
