Golden Rule.... you get that down.... you find Love in your soul & you'll know God, b/c God IS Love.... & I don't mean just 'polyanna' love.... real love.... tough love, too....

Beef Stew Recipe Please?

I use stew meat, sometimes just hamburger meat... it really is simple... if you have a crock pot even better...
In the crock pot I pour in the diced tomatoes & stewed tomatoes, then the carrots, cause they need to be on the bottom to get more heat, so they will get tender by the time the rest of it is done... Then I put in celery (sometimes)... but certainly potatoes... & I like to add a can of corn... you can also add peas... Then the meat... you can brown the stew meat a little before putting it in, or just put it in raw... (it is a good idea to let the stew meat sit in a bowl for a little while - maybe overnight - after you've sprinkled it with meat tenderizer & stirred it around to get the meat covered with it...) If you put in hamburger meat, brown it first.... thouroughly... Serve with cornbread muffins.... Add a can of whole kernel corn to the cornbread mix... adds texture.... for an interesting change.... |

do yall ever say things to kids that are funny.my son and i laugh alot.tonight when he took a bath i said you know that soap is just not for decoration
my youngest of 4 is 19 now, & that's how I raised them... ya gotta have a good sense of humor & pass it on.... especially with 4... I miss their younger days.... cherish every minute... One of mine lives in KS, & another in OR & she's the wonderer... She talks about living in Europe & she did do the exchange student thing one time in Germany.... She has already studied several languages & can speak German pretty fluent... So, I do not doubt that she will live over there someday.... Oh well... that'll give me an excuse to travel over there...
Anyhow... my kids have roots & wings..... That's how I raised them & with alot of laughter!!!! |
