awwwwwww, that was amazing!

That was awesome, and I can relate to it.

Once I had a dream that i was
riding on an angels wing
as I looked back to the earth
I had no fear as I heard the angel sing.

So blissfully watching all the amazments
so happy to be taking this flight
as if a trip through time we journied
scenes of life lived in my sight.

A bright and sparkling promise of tomorrow
just hold on I heard a voice say
hold on to the hand that will never leave you
for tomorrow is just a dream away.

Yes you should, poetry does not HAVE to rhyme.

ive looked at life from several sides
the folks walkin around so full of pride
the folks that live without a dime
which one is the bigger crime.

to have it all and never share
or to have nothing at all
but an honest heart with love to bear
even if it leads to a fall.

you be the judge, you decide
keep it or give it away
what matters at the end of time
who knows, who am i to say.

ive walked a dark and lonely road
in my dreams
ive heard the cries of the homeless
and the lunatics screams.

ive faced the demons
that dwell in the night
and i came through the pain
the confusion and the fright.

yes ive walked that dark and lonely road

the hungry beggers clinging to hope
while the mindless, dont know what it means.

open the doors of humanity
let the desparing walk through
look deeper in that mirror
those reflections may someday be you.

emptiness fills my shattered heart
i simply dont know where to start
forgetting you i cannot see
how we were just not meant to be.

the day you walked into my heart
i knew that we would never part
you felt it too-it was in your smile
how little i knew , it would last just awhile.

the blame is mine-this i know
i said the words that made you go
no more to know your loving touch
how could i destroy what i loved so much.

now i will walk this walk alone
shattered dreams i call my own
not looking again, im outta the race
there is simply no one who could take your place!

piercing brown eyes, now faded with time
raven hair now white as snow
but her heart springs to life in remembrance
of a love that not many will know.

in this room she sees him everywhere
his photos, his own special touch
in this room she re-lives special memories
of this man she loved so much.

he left her on a spring morning
while outside nature was coming to life
with her face in his hands, he wispers i love you
then he smiles at this woman.....his wife

so now days are spent with his memory
in this room , his refuge from strife
she still hears his words .......i love you
while he smiled as he let go of life.

she doesnt cry for he is still with her
hes in every song that she sings
hes in every sunrise and sunset
hes in every warm morning in spring.

she knows what they shared was eternal
it will never be dulled or erased
and she knows when her time is over
he will greet her with that same smile on his face.
