A gun is a threat regardless to who carries it. You have no idea of the mindset of the person carrying the gun. You can't know it until they shoot you that they meant to do that.

Ok so they do go off on accident so it might just be an accidental shooting but you get the meaning and the bullet will still hurt regardless if accidental or intentional.

Very seldom do penises hurt anyone when they go off accidentally.....

Not a lie....just because you don't want or are incapable of seeing the truth of it.

something you know about, huh...

I sure do, it is like talking to a box of rocks half the time....frustrated

Stupid analogy.

Penises are great fun. And barely ever deadly even in rape.

Guns however are deadly even when folks are having fun with them.

A gun is a threat. There is no way around that.

You got some 'splaining to do,Lucy!

hahahahahaha

And did you know, since I always have to do all the homework for everyone all the time...

Almost all of the guns used in Chicago for wrong doing come from other states....which means their problem is the non restrictive laws in other places.

The gun is a threat no matter if the person who has it is legally carrying it or not.

To hash that is a waste of time....

When a person sees another person with a gun they need to act as if that person is a threat because they are.

Ignorance is hugging your gun and forsaking the child....

As this thread a few others prove over and over...

Good thing he didn't act aggressively, he wouldn't be here to complain about it...which the cops would have been in their right.

Gotta shoot someone before they can shoot you....

he never acted any way to deserve that from the cop...

Yes he did, he had a weapon that was a threat to a cop.

It was only a perceived threat. I watched the video and the man made no threats or moves that would indicate any threats.

On the other hand the cop verbally threatened to blow the man's freaking brains out.

The cop threatened to kill the man. He will be reprimanded and should be fired.

Police are supposed to protect and serve not bully and threaten.

Good for him.

He would be dead if he had done anything more threatening while wearing a threatening gun.

I don't know how to transfer pics to here. There is a cartoon with every one with a gun pointed at someone while they do their errands every day. That is the only way that guns could be everywhere and not be a threat is if all of them are pointed at anyone they perceive as a potential threat all the time. Locked loaded unsafetied and finger on the trigger 24/7/365. Otherwise whenever a gun is in public it is a threat to those around it. We don't know if he is crazy. We don't know if he is one of those gun crazies who thinks he is the good guy and will open fire when he sees a threat....mowing down the innocent by standers while he saves the day in his false little world...

So yea, wear your gun in public and you will be treated as a threat....and rightfully so.

This thread is about children mowed down in their classroom in the US by an automatic weapon and why the coffin was open at the funeral.

Can anyone imagine their six year old cut apart by 11 bullets in their classroom? Can you?

And yes America needs to see what an automatic weapon will do to their children so they can decide if they want one doing it to their children.

Humanistic psychology

Abraham Maslow and Carl Rogers, leaders in the Humanistic Psychology movement, developed the concept of self-actualization.

Based on Maslow, the most common meaning given to self-realization is that of psychological growth. It represents the awakening and manifestation of latent potentialities of the human being -for example, ethical, esthetic, and religious experiences and activities.[11]
Maslow

Maslow defined self-actualization as:

The impulse to convert oneself into what one is capable of being.[12]

Western esotericism

Western esotericism integrates a broad variety of traditions. It views self-realization as the ultimate goal of a human being, attaining permanent happiness and complete independence and freedom from all worldly bondage. In this view, true happiness is the result of self-realization.

I found the name for where I found myself along my journey...

Most describe it as the end but I hope not....as I so want to learn so much more......

It took a lot of terrible life experiences to learn enough to get here. But without them I would have never learned so no regrets.

Anyone else know when they reached this point?

How do you deal with another person's filters when you realize that they do not hear you accurately when you tell them something?

IE, You tell a person that you enjoy going to the casino on occasion.

Their interpretation is that you are a regular gambler.

Might not be the best example but I think you can understand.

Because we all have our preconceived perceptions, those filters will cause us to misinterpret and misunderstand others communications.

They do so because they want to and they do not need proof of anything. Someone told em, is all they need. They call it faith.

There is no logic to it. There is no worry of healthiness to it. There is not concern of the crimes committed in it's name.

Again it is faith.

One of the worst conditions permeated through our societies....

Choose a lover and know that it may take more than one try to find the right one.

Sex is a pretty natural event and it is really healthy for you.

Just don't mistake the lust for love as women tend to do and you will be just fine.
