Your situation sounds like a man I met earlier in the year. He was an ok guy. Nothing fabulous, but hey, neither am I.

We talked on the phone and texted each other a few weeks. Had a few dinners. I was thinking the way you are but then, I had to be honest with myself.

In my case, there just wasn't any chemistry. And it was mutual.
Better to realize it up front than wasting months and months on something that feels...forced.

I sent him an email after our 3rd date. And said, '...listen, if you have any kind of interest or attraction to me, I really am not feeling it. I think you're great, but, why waste each other's time'.

He never responded and to be honest, I think he was relieved.
