Ok I love the old folks just as much as everyone else, but when the hell should we take there driving privileges away? When are they a hazard to themselves and everyone else on the road? One just backed into my truck this afternoon in a grocery store parking lot after I was yelling and honking at him to stop. 
Sorry to hear about the oldie backing into your truck. How much damage was done? If they can barely pass their license renewal (i.e. eye test etc,) it still doesn't mean they are SAFE drivers. |

I usually try to make eye contact with him and let him catch me checking him out....then I smile hoping to encourage him to make conversation...Or I brush past him and rest my hand a little longer than needed on his arm and make eye contact, then stay close, but not too close.
