I think i have no issues with gay or lesbians. But if one is repulsed by the idea of a male caressing another male then he might even start taking the harmless type of touch from the gay friend in a wrong way.
I guess it ud help to understand that a straight guy can keep feeling attracted towards a lesb woman who is hot in his eyes and it may show up in some of his gestures towards her. If it is not an offence in his mind then why should 'being a bit too touchy feely' be held as one?

Well, i'ud like to contribute. Im straight. But i have a gay friend and its not very easy to find mate here for them. I was very shy in school n he thought i had similar sexual orientation. So he gathered courage n asked me out in indirect words(''are you thinking what im thinking?'' etc). I didnt understand but accepted and then when he kissed me i did. Then,being his fried i understood his agony n loneliness and for the next few days i tried my best to be with him. I thought it ud be great to be in love with such a good friend and human being. But unfortunately i didnt enjoy a bit of the intimacy part. So i had to say him so and he understood n never again tried to even kiss. We are very good friends. And he is as lonely as i am...

My mom's elder brother has stage 3 gall b cancer. Im taking him to chemo n all. But it is not a custom here to let the patient know how things really are!
