Reshel tried to hide her uneasiness, but the man had already felt it and saw it with her jerky movements of what should have been a graceful dance. The man in front of her, lifted her up slightly, stepping underneath her feet and placing her on them, pulling her close and began to dance, almost the same way as before but something was different. “My name is James McCovey.” He bowed slightly, “You must be Reshel, and we have heard so much of you.” A look of horror flashed over Reshel’s face before she could mask it. James chuckled. Reshel watched his face, and began to note his features; he was taller than she, but shorter than Geoffrey, Aubrey, and Duncan. His strength was different than the others. Duncan has relied heavily on his muscles, it seemed Aubrey was for the cunning and quiet strength, Geoffrey was for his grace and presence to use as his strength. This man however was something that she could not figure out where he got his strength from. The dance had finished, and Reshel still couldn’t tell what about him made her uneasy. She tried to look around for Aubrey, but there were too many people around. Suddenly she found herself outside with him the moonless night, with her back pressed up against one of the walls there. She gasped as he had pressed himself between her legs. Now she knew. Reshel tried to fight him off but he had wrapped a hand around her wrists without her knowing and tangled a hand in her hair, tilting it slightly. “No.” Reshel moaned, trembling slightly. “You smell so good my dear.” He purred with a hint of seductiveness in his tone. A whisper, a muffled rustling of clothes, a scent, and one particular voice; “Get the hell of her you sorry excuse of a vampire.” The words were filled with pure rage, and something far more terrifying. It sounded like the darkness itself, filled with cold that it froze Reshel’s body and blood on the spot, she could only watch with wide eyes. She didn’t want to look into Aubrey’s face. Reshel felt the hands that held her wrists and tangled in her hair lift from her body and looked up into the face of Aubrey who was trying his best to school his features into a bored mask, he successfully did, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes. He looked down at her, his eyes still filled with rage and darkness. Reshel did not mean to, but she began to tremble as she looked down at the ground. Her poor vision could not save her nor show her what exactly she was looking at. She felt one cool finger be placed under her chin and lift it up with just a small amount of pressure. Reshel felt the blood rush to her cheeks as she tried to control her trembling. With wide eyes she looked into the dark eyes of Aubrey’s and swallowed. He held her like that for a moment longer asking, “He didn’t hurt you did he?” The muscle in his jaw clenched tighter as she could see another wave of anger move across his features. Forgetting her place, she lifted her hands and placed them onto his face, directing his vision to her. “Aubrey,” Her voice soft as if she was talking to a young child who saw something that scared had him. “He didn’t hurt me in any way, just tried to scare me is all.” She kept her mind blank, hoping he won’t read her mind later in the evening as she would recall the events that had just went on. Aubrey nodded unconvinced as to what went on. He knew he would exchange some words with Geoffrey. “Come.” Was the soft command that left no room for argument. Aubrey took her hand and led her through the maze of people and left the room. He took her down the hall as if they were going towards her room, and kept going past it. He then moved to a tapestry and moved it over and opened the door behind it. He led her in first. “Stay, I have to shut the door.” He turned and moved to shut the door. He listened to her movements and her thoughts. As Reshel felt him move away, she began to look around willing her eyes to see what she knew she could never see with her eyes. She closed her eyes and just listened into the darkness surrounding her. The only thing she could hear was the sounds of her quiet breathing, and her heart beat. A few moments she opened them and walked right into Aubrey. “I’m sorry.” She said blushing, her voice filled with shock and a hint of fear. Aubrey chuckled. “It’s my fault Reshel, I forgot how you humans cannot really see well in the dark.” Reshel grumbled something and looked away from him. “Reshel.” She turned back to look up at him. He was just looking at her, not wanting to say anything more. Reshel suddenly found herself in the air, and clutched at him fearful of Aubrey. Reshel bared her teeth at him, “Your evil.” Aubrey just chuckled once more and set off at a pace which made her clutch at him and placed her face in the crook of his neck and shut her eyes, amazed at how smooth Aubrey’s pace was. Soon he stopped and gently let her down. In front of them was a door, she could just make out the faint outline of light coming from the bottom of the heavy door. Aubrey moved towards it with grace and opened it with one hand. Reshel knew that if she tried to move the door herself it wouldn’t bugde. She had tried it before with another door that was connected with her room. “Aubrey where are we?” Aubrey wrapped an arm around her waist, leading her inside the room. “You are at my favorite place in this whole building.” Reshel was confused, but she didn’t ask any more questions. What she saw took her breath away. The room was huge; filled with books from bottom to top with so many glorious books. Chairs and couches were scattered around the two story library. Her breath caught in her throat. Her eyes unable to fully comprehend what she was seeing. She walked in and felt a sense of security and peace for the first time since she had come to this place. She didn’t know if it was because Aubrey was with her and knew that Geoffrey was on her side or if it was just the secretive way of the room around her. As she moved further into the room, she heard the door shut, and a faint click to tell her that the door had been locked. She turned to see where Aubrey was, but he was no longer insight. Reshel shrugged the feelings off and began to explore the room. She was glad that she was not at the dance. It wasn’t like the dances that she had been to before, and nothing moved her blood the way dances back home did. As she wandered the long passages of various books of different sizes, Aubrey was in a deep discussion with Geoffrey. Reshel heard faint voices and turned around trying to find them. She got to a point in the bookshelf of the top level and tried to listen, she only got bits and pieces of what was being said between the two. “…So your saying….he did what?!” “…I know, I couldn’t believe it myself, but luckily I found her when I…” “Reshel.” Reshel moved back from the wall, fearful as if they heard her. Red began to stain her cheeks and she could feel her heartbeat increase. She hurried away from them, trying to put distance between them, but knew it wasn’t going to work. “Reshel.” Two voices this time not just one. Reshel thought as she continued to move. She came to a sudden halt as she saw Geoffrey and turned around and saw Aubrey. Reshel began to tremble, her mind unable to comprehend what was going on at this current moment. Her heart fluttering as her mind screamed at her to find a place to move to, but her body would not respond to anything that she was trying to move. She was locked in place by the gazes of these two men, who were approaching her slowly. Like a cat who stalks a bird or a mouse. .................................................................................................................................................................................... 11 She swallowed, knowing that if she screamed no one would hear her. Both Aubrey and Geoffrey could hear the thoughts, and they could also smell her sweet scent as well as the luring smell of her fear coming off her in waves. It was calling to them. Showing them that she was the prey and an easy target. As they kept coming closer, her trembling became more visible, and she looked around, her eyes widening in fear. “Don’t.” Her voice was shaking with her fear. Both smiled, something about them was different and her mind couldn’t figure out why. Reshel’s mind finally snapped and she began to move, her eyes darting around trying to find a way out, knowing the door was still locked. She began to run up and down isles trying to seek a way out this place. In her mind she heard a seductive voice filled with authority that almost made her stop but she kept going. Reshel you cannot win, I can find you. The voice sent chills down her spine; it hinted at something that she didn’t want to think about. Finally she saw a few doors and began to try to open them, finding all of them locked but one. She opened it and shut it, trying to let her eyes adjust and when they did began to move hurriedly down the stairs, she knew that they were close on her and probably enjoying doing this to her. Something had gotten to them and she did not know why they were doing this now. She continued to move down the winding stairs feeling as if she shouldn’t be coming down the stairs. Her heart was thumping painfully in her chest and she stumbled at the last bit of stairs, her breathing harsh in her ears. Reshel. She lifted her head up trying to see what was going on and who said it. She bit her lip from containing the scream building up inside of her. She took a few steps into the dark room and was grabbed around the waist, her arms trapped by her side and a hand was cupped around her mouth. Reshel began to struggle but the arm and hand tightened and she stopped as she felt a mouth close to her ear. “Stop fighting Reshel, you cannot win.” The mouth moved away and she could feel the breath on her throat and a tongue darted out and licked her skin, causing her to shiver. Her breathing was still ragged, her body trembling as she was carried further inside the room. Reshel saw light and saw it was a fireplace in a decorative room. The man let her go and she stumbled into the direction towards the fire. She fell to the ground and looked up. The man that picked her up was Duncan; in the two seats closed to her were Aubrey and Geoffrey. She swallowed and stayed put, fearful of moving and getting caught. “What’s going on?” Her voice was breathy and weak sounding to her ears and she winced inside. Her heart was slowly calming down, but she was unsure of all three of them, something was different about them. Geoffrey was the first to speak, his voice calm and seductive to her ears. “The two men you have encountered; Stephan and James well we have some questions about them that we want answered.” Reshel nodded, but noticed that Geoffrey wasn’t done speaking, “And then we want to know why you ran from us.” In her mind he finished, we made you come down to this place for a reason, there’s more that we want to know… Reshel looked away and swallowed. ..................................................................................................................................................................................... 12 “The only memory I can remember of what went on that night when Aubrey and Duncan found me was of seeing this man approach me while I was wearing a tattered dress, with blood dripping down my body.” She couldn’t stop talking. “This man terrified me, like none of you have so far, and to this day I have no idea why.” Keep going Reshel your doing great… Reshel’s head snapped up trying to find that voice in her mind, but she couldn’t tell who it was. Her mind flashes back to that fateful night. “He brought me into a room and made me drink hot coco, it was laced with something, sleeping drugs or something and the next thing I knew I was back into my room with no way of knowing what happened in between.” She didn’t tell them of what happened in between and where she got all those cuts and bruises. Reshel took a deep breath and waited a moment before moving on in her story. Duncan and Aubrey can fill in the thoughts of the dance. “They both noticed the bruises and cuts that marred my body. A few days after there was a dance and Stephan ended up finding me and began to dance with me. The music was in blood so I couldn’t stop; he also overpowered me, until Aubrey came and saved me.” A blush rose over her face as she began to remember how they danced. Keep going… Reshel’s eyes searched out for that voice, unsure of whom it was. “Then here, all was fine and I met James and we danced, he took me outside and tried to bite me, but once again Aubrey saved me and now I’m here.” Reshel stood up and moved towards the fire, her body was relaxed and her mind at ease. “Thank you Reshel for this information.” Reshel whirled around her eyes flashing with anger. “You could have gotten this from my mind since I’m unable to shield you from it.” She looked away staring into the fire, Enough Reshel. She fully turned away from; she could feel the tension leave from the room. Once the fire was too warm for her she turned, not looking at the three vampires, and looked around the room. Various books and chairs, couches, desks, littered the room and a bed as well. Reshel was getting irritated with this whole thing. She then made a dash for it, succeeding into getting to the door and opening it. She began to run up the stairs, anger powered her muscles making her move faster than before. Reshel made it out of the top of stairs and stumbled into the darkness of the library. She heard cursing and then the sound of her harsh breathing, her heart painfully thumping against her chest. Reshel wildly looked around looking for a place to run. She was about a foot away from the door when she crashed to the ground with a heavy body pinning her to the ground, his hand on her throat. She snarled and fought with all her might to escape; but the man that held her down, had his hand tightened slightly on her throat, captured her wrists pulling them above her head and placed a knee between her legs. Reshel continued to fight, struggling as hard as she could but she was locked into place. Why are you struggling? Are you frightened of what we are Reshel? Of what your deepest desire is? The voice drifted off in her mind, hinting at what she wanted. She so desperately wished for light, the words making the fight leave her, she could feel her heart pounding and fear began to coil in her stomach. Reshel swallowed, knowing the man on top of her could feel it and chuckled darkly. Reshel suppressed a shiver and tried to see who was holding her down. She could feel the blood rushing through her body, her chest heaving with the running up the stairs as well as being tackled to the ground. I can feel your heart fluttering with the chase as well as the smell and feel of your fear. Reshel couldn’t hold it back any longer; a trembling began to take over her body. Suddenly a flash of light as one of the lamps were lit and she could see who was on top of her. Aubrey. Her mind whispered at her. Reshel looked up at him, his black eyes locking onto hers. He held a smirk on his perfect face, his hand now rubbing her throat slightly. A blush began to take place of the drained lack of blood as she began to get angry at him. “Aubrey you had no right in chasing me.” Aubrey chuckled darkly, his eyes growing more intense with each word she spoke. His voice was deep, velvet and filled with seduction and darkness. “Reshel, you have no idea how much your chase was felt or what I was feeling. The experience to finally chase you and to you have to trapped underneath me can possibly lead to…” He drifted off watching her reactions, as he moved his hand and leaned down. Her mind stopped working as she felt his breath on her throat and licked the same spot when she was in Duncan’s arms. “That was you?” She managed to squeak out fear lacing her voice making it sound breathy and weak. Aubrey chuckled once more and kissed her throat moving down to the hollow; drinking in the scent of her blood, the smell of her skin and her fear. (this is all i have for now i might come up with some more later just keep intouch with me) |

Reshel swallowed and with the help of Aubrey, rose from the bench and stepped out while the King Geoffrey stepped into the light. A blush rose up to Reshel’s fair cheeks as she swayed, marveling at the strength, grace, and beauty of the man standing in front of her. He was alone as he walked into the room, his voice matching hers, as he smiled inwardly. To Aubrey he said, she’s a beauty and has a voice I haven’t heard in many years. Aubrey nodded, and moved away from Reshel towards the king to stand next to him and both looked at Reshel. “Hello.” She smiled and dipped a curtsey towards the men in front of her. Both men smiled at her as she rose out of the curtsey. “My dear that was a beautiful piece and voice you have. I haven’t heard that song in such a long time, nor sung that beautifully.” The king’s voice was a little deeper than Aubrey’s and melted her like chocolate. Reshel blushed a bright pink at the compliments. “Thank you your Majesty.” She replied in a soft voice and looked around for support. “Might I know your name Sire?” Reshel looked down, and licked her lips. She was unable to look at his beauty. Very similar to each other yet so very different from each other; as if they were brothers. Her mind whispered to her as she looked up at both of them. “My name is Geoffrey.” The king said and smiled slightly at the girl in front of him, we radiated youth, beauty, and strength that he could not understand where she got it from. Geoffrey then said, his voice carrying easily over the length of the room, “We are having a ball tonight, I suggest you either tag along with Aubrey or you hide. Many vampires will be around tonight and your ah…scent will draw them to you like a moth to a flame. After hearing this Reshel swallowed and nodded in understanding. “I’m guessing that if I hide I will be sought after and not under anyone’s protection with whoever I encounter, so I’ll take my chances and come.” She took another breath and smiled, “That is if Aubrey will have me.” Geoffrey nodded in agreement. He clapped his hands together and smiled, enjoying this human female who smelled like no other human he had smelled before. “Then it is all settled. The time the ball will start is at twilight. I will have your maids help pick out a dress that will be proper for you to wear.” Reshel curtsied and watched the King strode out of the room. Soon she was left with Aubrey again. “I’m sure you're tired and you will need your rest for tonight I’m sure.” Reshel nodded and walked up to him, staring up into his face. “Before I leave your presence, where is Duncan, I haven’t seen him since well I cannot remember, I would like to see him.” Aubrey looked away, “Duncan is away right now.” He didn’t have the guts to tell her where he actually was, and he knew that one way or another she would find out the real answer, or Duncan will show up suddenly at the dance. Aubrey that Reshel will have a feeling of forgetting about the dance unless he would let her sleep until the king commanded him to go get her. The sun was slowly setting; Reshel had fallen asleep moments after she placed her head onto the pillow. Unaware of the two men that kept coming into her room to watch her over her it seemed like. More and more carriages and old and new vampires were coming into the castle. Always sending each groups a different direction away from the girl who was sleeping soundly after Aubrey willed her to sleep and held her nightmares at bay. Aubrey too wondered if Duncan was coming tonight, since this ball was a big deal. Reshel woke up to the sounds of murmuring voices and faint strains of music. She got out of bed after getting all the sleep out of her eyes and stumbled slightly as she tried to get her mind to wake up. A maid that was sleeping in the chair next to the bed woke up and hurried to get the dress that the King ordered her to make Reshel wear. The colors and how it fell on her body, hugging it like a second skin was not important in the eyes of the vampires. What was was the life and beauty inside of her. The maid did not do much to her hair, and left it flowing down her back, only putting up a few pieces. Then the maid left the room as Reshel cleaned her teeth, and put on a hint of makeup that she had brought with her. She walked out of her room and nearly walked into Aubrey who had his back turned to her. Reshel on the other hand, had her head down, not wanting to meet anyone’s eyes and get captured by them. She muttered sorry and proceeded to continue walking when an arm caught her around her waist. Reshel froze in place and felt them drag her back towards them with gentle ease. A mouth was by her ear and whispered, “Where do you think you were going little one?” Reshel relaxed as she realized it was Aubrey. Reshel whispered back, “To where I was hearing the music and voices of people.” Aubrey shifted his grip and turned her to face him. He was wearing black boots, black pants, and a white shirt that was rolled up to his quiet strength and opened at his throat. Her breath caught in her throat as she marvel at the beauty and strength of the man in front of her. “Reshel.” He was laughing as she tore her eyes away from him. “Sorry.” He chuckled and moved an arm’s length away and looked at her, his own breath caught but he hid it much better than she did. In front of him staring down the hall was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen. The green and gold dress that formed down her body like a second skin showed off her hair, features, body, and most importantly her eyes. . He shook his head, wondering when he would take her on a little adventure and report back to his majesty of how she faired. Aubrey took Reshel’s arm and placed in the crook of his and lead her the opposite way she was going and entered the ball room, watching the expressions move across her face as every vampire turned to look at their entrance and Reshel wondered what the looked like together. Reshel realized that she was holding her breath and released it and looked around for two familiar faces. Duncan and the kings but couldn’t find either. Aubrey led her further inside the room and then she heard a voice. “Reshel my dear is that you?” Aubrey had let go of Reshel’s hand and made a small bow and then Reshel turned and tilted her head to look up into the face of the king. “Good evening Sire.” She replied in a soft voice and dipped low to show her respect. He graced her with a nod and swept her onto the dance floor. As he did the music began to play and she could feel the stares of the people around her and swallowed nervously. Geoffrey moved her body closer to his and whispered, “Release your fears, no one is going to hurt you on this night or any other night that I’m here.” Reshel nodded and tried to get rid of that uneasy feeling, but it wouldn’t go away. Geoffrey felt her unease and wondered who in this room would try to take her blood on this night. He was going to make sure that Aubrey keeps a very close eye on her tonight. Once the dance was ended, words were exchanged between the king and his closet advisor and soon Reshel was dancing in Aubrey’s arms, feeling a little safer and now began to slowly relax her guard. The song changed and Reshel was soon swept up into another man’s arms, this man she had never seen before in her life, and the way he had his hands on her made her realize that this was the man who struck the uneasy feeling inside of her. |

The king was in his rooms, getting ready for the feast that was about to begin and his meeting of the human girl Reshel. Sire? It was a young maiden new to the castle unfamiliar with the workings of the dark and secret society. He smiled and motioned her forward, Come here my dear. She was a human by the smell of it; she watched him with doe eyes as she crept silently towards him. The girl, Mara, stopped a foot away, and the king extended his arm and took her by the wrist. Underneath his complexion, he seemed very pale, and his eyes held a look that showed he was hungry. He brought the girl close to his body and tangled a hand into her hair, tilted her head back just a little to expose her tender, soft throat; clamped his mind on top of hers and began to feed. The kings name was Geoffrey I. Behind his back he was known as Geoffrey the Terror from the men, or from the women as Geoffrey the Seductive. After he had feed on the girl, and brought her back to her rooms, he willed himself back into his own rooms and finished getting ready. He called out to Aubrey with his mind. Aubrey, is the girl ready to meet me? His voice was deep, like melted chocolate, with an underlying emotion no one has figured out what it is. Aubreys head shot up and smiled at Reshel who looked at him with wide eyes. Sire, she is ready to meet you. Try not to scare her too much. The king chuckled in his mind and told him where to go to find him. Reshel had a feeling of someone talking about her because her ears began to burn. She looked up at Aubrey and cocked her head to the side. Whats going on Aubrey? Her voice was soft, her belly filled, and she was filled with confusion. Everything kept changing on her, making her be on guard at all times. Suddenly a yawn racked her body, as if she was tired. Aubrey took her hand and lead her back to her rooms. He tilted her head up to him as his hand stroked the back of her cheek. The maids have laid out another dress, this one was for daywear. You will need to change into your evening gown. He smiled and bent down and kissed her forehead. I will wait here for you. Reshel nodded and walked into her room. One of the maids was a slight girl, with round blue eyes and raven black hair. She helped Reshel take off the dress and cleaned her up a bit and added a few dabs of perfume in a few places; the backs of her elbows, behind her ears, and a small dab on her throat. Another maid came up to Reshel holding a green and black dress. Her mouth went dry as they helped her put it on. It was a long green dress, with black sleeves, black ties down the front, and a black hood that went down the length of the dress in the front. They took down Reshels hair from all the pins, and pinned it back up, letting some of the hair fall around her face and body; then pushed her out the door. She took a deep breath and looked up at Aubrey. Aubrey looked down at her and smiled. You are beautiful Reshel. Come we must meet the king. Aubrey took her hand and began to walk her back to the Ballroom and led her to the piano. She sat, stroking at the keys and smiled. Am I allowed to play? Aubrey smiled once more. Yes my dear. He whispered and stood a little ways, leaning on the wall near her, his eyes guarded as well as his mind. Reshel took a deep breath and closed her eyes feeling her soul for the music, and began to play a song she learned when she was younger. She also began to sing the words of the Phantom of the Opera, her voice the same pitch as the piano she was playing. In sleep he sang to me In dreams he came That voice which calls to me And speaks my name And do I dream again? For now I find The phantom of the opera is there, Inside my mind Another voice began to sing but Reshel couldnt figure out where it was coming from. Sing once again with me Our strange duet My power over you Grows stronger yet And though you turn from me to glance behind The phantom of the opera is there Inside your mind The singing between the two continued on Those who have seen your face Draw back in fear I am the mask you wear The man who continued to sing was getting closer. It's me they hear And continued its haunting tune My/Your spirit and my/your voice In one combined The phantom of the opera is there inside my/your mind Reshel had no idea who was singing with her, but the voice was hypnotic and compelled her to finish the song with him. In all your fantasies you always knew That man and mystery Reshel took a quick glance over at Aubrey but he was staring at her with a strange expression on his face. Were both in you The voice was closer to the door. Both voices; Reshels and the Kings were in perfect harmony as they furthered the song towards the end. And in this labyrinth Where night is blind The Phantom of the opera is here/there Reshel looked down at her hands watching and singing as her hands moved flawlessly against the keys. Inside my mind At the doorway hid a shadow. Sing, my Angel of Music! Reshel looked at the door but still saw a shape and she finished the song with a whisper. Letting her voice fall quiet after the song was done. He's there, the Phantom of the Opera Reshel let her hands fall to her lap as she saw Aubrey moved towards her with his grace and took her hand and helped rise from the piano bench. |

As Reshel sat down, the three men followed her into the room and shut the door, and saw Aubrey turn the lock and heard a faint snick as the lock fell into place. She swallowed and tried to calm her nerves as they turned to face her. A fire was crackling merrily in the fireplace, making her skin glow with the warmth and glow of it. The men smiled at each other as they felt her uneasiness and fear, mingling with the tantalizing scent of her blood.
Aubrey began to speak as he sat down on the chair next near her, while Stephan was near the window watching the night and the stars in the sky, the full moon bearing down on his flesh, making him ache for the need to change into his true form. Duncan was towards the back of the room, pouring a drink for Reshel, and filling three other goblets with fresh blood from a victim Duncan had caught earlier. He handed the drink to Reshel who sniffed it and wrinkled her nose but began to sip it quietly. So She stopped talking, blushing faintly as Aubrey just looked at her. Relax Reshel no one is going to hurt you. Duncan finished the sentence quietly in his mind, yet. Reshel nodded, trying to relax and to get the butterflies out of her stomach, to hide her discomfort she took a long swallow of the drink. All three men watched as she swallowed. Reshel ignored their eyes and looked down as she set the cup on the table in front of her, waiting for someone to talk to her. Reshel... Reshels head snapped up as she looked at Stephan who stood in front of her, and held out his hand. Ill start the story, but I want to show you something. She took his hand and was led to the window to look out at the night. This mansion was built long ago by humans. It was a basis for the wars that was to come. If you cant tell with the stones, this used to be a castle for a very wealthy and strange king. He paused letting Reshels mind trickle in the words that she was hearing. She opened her mouth to ask a question but Stephan laid a finger on her lips and she shut them. Little did the king know that a deadly force would come and take over the castle and change the world forever. Reshels eyes got big as she watched the sky and the night move ever so slowly. As time went on, the king realized something was wrong and that his people were dying slowly by something hunting them every night or every full moon. At this Stephan smiled slightly, the smiling not quite reaching his eyes. The king tried to stop the force but it ended up taking his life and the being became the Lord or King of the castle and soon a new line of people were born. Reshel swallowed hard her mind slowly moving towards the aspect of vampires and werewolves. Stephan could see the calculations in her eyes and how her body inched away from his. As this new man took over the building, many changes began to take form as the rules and regulations of trade and other trifling things had taken place. Humans were brought in to live in certain roomsto perform He paused and whispered, Certain activities. Reshel shuddered, she didnt mean to but she couldnt hide it. She had a feeling of what he meant with books that she had read as a young girl and into college. Reshel turned to face them all and whispered, Vampires and werewolves. Thats what you are She drifted off and swallowed once more. Aubrey and Duncan were watching her from their seats. Suddenly Duncan moved towards Aubrey whispering something into his ear and Aubrey nodded and waved his hand and Duncan left. Reshel had a confused look on her face but didnt say anything, her mind curiously blank for the first time in a long time. Stephan took her arm and led her to the couch, You need to be sitting for this part. He smiled and looked at Aubrey for him to continue the history of the castle/mansion. Reshel realized how many questions she wanted to ask and by the look Aubrey gave her, it seemed that he knew it as well. The king had allowed these different humans to come and take over the castle, the only thing the king wanted in return was to be different as well. So one night one of the men that stormed the castle had changed the king into a creature of the night. Reshel was looking around the room, trying to see if any of the pictures would show the face of the king, but there were only pictures of landscapes and various lords. Aubrey flicked his eyes towards the clock on the mantel and looked at Reshel who had dark circles under her eyes and smiled. The story will have to be finished later, lets get you to bed. Aubrey came over and picked her up, cradling her very gently against his chest and brought her to a double door room and laid her on the huge bed and willed her to sleep. As Reshel slept off all the things, her dreams were filled with the story they have yet to tell her. She thrashed and muttered many words through the night and when she woke up she felt a lot better. She sat up in bed and her stomach rumbled as she smelled a plate of food, and saw Aubrey and Duncan looking at her. She ignored them and began to eat. After she finished she moved the plate away and got out of bed. I would like to get cleaned before anything else happens. Duncan nodded and called a servant to start a bath. The servants came in and drew her a bath, herding the men out and began to wash Reshels hair. Once Reshel was cleaned, a dress was laid out for her, and the maid helped her dress and did her hair, allowing some to be pinned up and the rest be flowing around her body. Jewels adorned her throat and a few rings on her fingers. Slippers were placed on her feet as she looked at herself in the mirror and it took her breath away. Why? She turned but the maid had left as if she was never there. Reshel looked dumbfounded as she opened the door. I wonder what is going on. She muttered to on one in particular. Reshel had no idea what do to, so she ventured off to her place at the piano and began to play waiting for someone to come and talk with her. She didnt realize that the sun was setting, nor how late she had slept. Her stomach rumbled as she was hungry for food and got up. As she got up from the piano, she saw a score of men and woman watching her. Reshel felt her cheeks flush with embarrassment for her actions and opened her mouth to say something. Before she knew it a man came up to her and she realized it was Aubrey who took her by the arm and led her out of the room. Aubrey, whats going on? Her voice was soft, filled with uncertainty as to what was going on. this is part 7 of 12 pages that i have so far |
