who would love a beast such as i
a beast that so willingly would lay down and die
for the one he loves he would lay down his life
for one chance of happiness with no doubt in his eyes
for i am said beast i would lay down my life
for the one that i love to go on and survive
just one little act to show how much i care
for you my love, please don't dispare
for i would go with a smile and love in my hart
it will only be a short time while we are apart
for love is eternal i'll see you in heaven
i'll wait at the gate with my arms wide open
to greet you my darling once you have arrived
and to hold you forever
now would you love a beast so cleaver ?

we have argued babe
but who says sorry first
it's one of those things we never learn
to swallow our pride and just say it loud
to look each other in the eye and let it out
for we was both in the wrong but no one will admit it
you got up tight and i would not leave it
but to sit here now not saying a word
it's just not right it's bloody absurd
for we both know it's better to make up
than to break up
you sit there at the other end of the sofa
i want to hold you, i want to reach over
but do i risk it would you push back my hand
well here i go risking rejection
and to my surprise you say sorry with affection
"well babe it was me" i say
"no babe it was me" you say
well lets not fight
lets relax for the night
so we cuddle on the sofa
you wrapped in my arms
that's so much better lets relax and watch charmed

as i sit here, and wonder what to write
i can't my thoughts are putting up a fight
i don't know what to say, i have writers block
wow look at the time it's seven o'clock
as i try to write about you and me
i can't because there is no you and me
there's only me all on my own
from the moment you gone my intellect has grown
i sit here almost every night
i try my best, for poetry lovers i write
i sit here after a hard days work
and share my thoughts my pain my hurt
i write about how lovers touch
i also write about how love can hurt so much
it makes me think about how i have lived
my past, my present, and what future i may have left
i know i have loved, and will again
but till i do, i write for my friends xx
