Soaring through the sky, seeking Sithso, a vampire, darkened with hatred roaming endlessly in search of humans to feed upon. Cloaked with black apparel, Sithos slithers through the underground tunnels and appearing in unlit alleys, but...wait..., tonite this alley has his dinner.
Noden, was just locking the doors to her little wiccan's shop, she puts the keys into the lock and turns the key until she hears the click, a sigh escapes her breath. Tonite was garbage night, she hated going down that alley, she had reported the lights being out so many times to the city, and still it remains unlit.
Reaching into her handbag she pulls out a flashlight, grabs the bags of garbage, and makes her way past the stores on the street, then, there ahead she sees the break between stores, down there is where she must go, sending shivers down her spin. After taking in air, her chest rises , she tells herself it's okay..."nothing to fear, but fear itself", she mumbles...right...she exhales slowly...
Once around the corner, she see the trash bin at the end of maybe a half a block or so down the lane, she pushes forward...half ways down a cat screams, jumping out from between the dumpsters, she screams as well grabbing at her chest as if to pray, heart jumping out of it's pocket, after realizing it was just a cat, she tries desperately to compose herself.
Once the breathing begins to slow down, she puts herself in stride...turning her head from side to side.
"Awwwh, look at my sweet dinner, all that blood is running so fast within her veins, now is the time" he says, Sithos sits for only couple minutes, watching her, he can taste the fear, he could feel her blood was hot of bittersweet essence, he pounced, mouth agape, fangs piecing sharp, hissing sounds of a snakes song, he coils his prey. Noden screams a heart breaking screech....Alameros ears rang with the pain of a human cry...
suddenly he sees them, Sithos thrashing with the woman, she is fighting effortlessly for her life tearing at his face, but with mere strength to ward off such a fiend, unmatched powers of the undead, a vampire which is now 40,000 years old, he lifts her high in the air, like a sacrifice....Alameros swoops in and grabs her up in his arms just before Sitho's dropped her down onto his fangs.
Alameros settled her in the far corner of the alley, he turns and Sitho's is pounding on him, as of the dog of hades, drooling falling from the sides of his mouth, pushing his face into Alameros neck to chomp at him , Alameros takes out his stake, and drives it home making Sithos fall to ashes....there was nothing but dust, left lying there.
Noden runs over to Alameros wrapping her arms around his neck, kissing his cheeks, her face wet with tears, one of which falls on his lips, as he traces it with his tongue, he tastes the sweet salt of her fear..he places his strong hands upon her face..Noden looks up, looking back are eyes of blue ice, so pure, she felt her body go weak, her knees gave out from beneath her.
Alameros gently lift her up into his arms, he looks at her and says, "just tell me where, you live mama and I'll bring you home, Noden looks at his trusting face and tells him the directions.



And Noden will cry no more.....

As Alameros, is now descending from his flight carrying Noden to her Castle, he slowly touches the ground under his feet, he glides up to the iron gates and pushes them open, and begins up the pathway. Noden still shaken of what had taken place,...looks up at him attentively and says in a low voice, "what brought you to my rescue and what is your name?", he then replied, "I have been watching you for sometime now, my name is Alameros, your soul, is connected to mine, so when I heard that, Sithso was out to slaughter you, I came to protect you from him, he had seen the light in your heart and wanted to diminish it, he also knew you where my soul mate from a different time, and he wanted me to feel the pain of your loss, I could not let that happen, are you okay now would you like to walk?".

"Oh, yes, I feel better now I want you to come inside and I'll get us something hot to drink, and get myself freshened up, and out of this torn clothles, I also want to hear more of this"...(as she has been having dreams of this man for some time now, and he is standing with her face to face, she wasn't about to let him go), he said, "I love that, here let me get the door".

Noden quickly sets off to the kitchen, as she yells back to him, "would you mind starting the fireplace in the library?", "Not at all"...he replied, "oh wonderful, I be back in a bit, make yourself at home", (which was an understatement cause these very walls where there home, long ago).

Wow, I came home, played with the dog, ate some hot dogs, played with the dog again, fed the dog some hot dogs, and a thought in my head, READ NODEN, over and over, READ NODEN, wow, and prose has always been an issue, a dream, a literary goal, but girl, you helped me, poetic prose, that's the way.
